Judith attacked Ava, Ava stabbed her. The prison guard tells Boyd he framed Ava because he loves her, Boyd lets him go. Darryl beat the **** out of Wendy, then cuts his and Kendal's hands and performs a blood oath.

Art is personally going on a protection detail for Raylan's ex-blonde chick because she might be in danger from the Crowes.

So Danny actually died? I figured the knife wasn't long enough to get into his brain. If all it did was go through his chin, tongue and roof of his mouth he could end up okay. It didn't seem definitive, unless I just wasn't paying enough attention at the time.
Loved the glimmer of knife in his mouth though. Nice touch.

Looked at the credits for the remaining eps and didn't see Danny on them, so I guess he might be dead since this Murder of Crowes season is going to be wrapped up.

Art expresses relief upon hearing that Danny died by his own hand, instead of Raylan's. Also, Darryl says something along the lines of, "Danny ain't even cold yet, and you wanna run?". He's dead.

Art's remark didn't make it clear either, it came off just as a sarcastic *** at Raylan's historical propensity for putting bullets in people. LOL
Missed the Darryl remark, though, so I guess that cinches it. Fine by me, Danny needed some killing.

I was waiting all that time to see what Boyd was going to do with that gadget he put in the pack, and it paid off big time.

Still the best show on TV. Not even a close call. And, this episode was the best of the year. Brilliant mix of subtlety and over-the-top. Boyd giving Duffy a weird look when he puts his arm around him.

Boyd trying his damndest to talk Dewey into walking away from a set-up. The Judge with the tough-guy nickname who tells Raylan he gave himself the reputation so he wouldn't necessarily have to be tough all the time just to establish himself. Dozens of small moments like that that give it a lot more depth than most shows.

Getting the feeling Raylan and Boyd aren't going to get along for much longer. They're both clearly sick of the other's schtick. Justified is great when its lighthearted, which it has been for most of this season. But, its even better when its deadly serious ... when even the lighthearted banter is angry. I think Raylan, Boyd and Ava are on a collision course for Ssn 6. They've set her up perfectly to get a release with a chip on her shoulder and no attachment to either Boyd or Raylan.

And, if that was Dewey Crowe's last appearance ... it was both fitting and brilliant. Called back to Dewey's introduction in Episode 1 -- car rolled away when he stopped and jumped out, misunderstanding Raylan's smartassed quips, etc. Completely bumbling himself into a life sentence would be a brilliant end for Dewey Crowe.

It's not often I want to watch a series again, but this one is at the top of my list to go from the beginning again.

I actually didn't start the series 'til halfway through Season 3, so I haven't seen all of 1 and 2 yet. Almost through 1 right now. Two or three left.

Apparently, you can win a trip to the Justified set and to go to the gun range with Olyphant. Fairly amusing Olyphant advertisement for it ...
