Yeah, I definately think it the definative version on the net! I'm really looking forward to this figure, just wish I jumped on this earlier, "Group 4" seem like it's ages away... Be worth the wait I'm sure!

Just watched the movie the other day... I personally don't think it's aged in the slightest! Can't wait to get this bad boy!

PJAM, any chance of an "Impressive Wing-span" Image, like the first time we see Batman Jump down on those laneway thugs?

Part of the reason the film doesn't age over time is the fact that it was set years before it was made in the first place, so the timeline of the film was old even when the movie was new, so you're left with story and character and director, which I think were all the right combinations, it's not Oscar material, but for its genre it's top notch.

Me three. I was expecting..... I don't know what I was expecting, but I was caught out. I'll have to get to and deposit some money wont I. So I'll be running like three days behind the pack. Don't forget to tell Shawn which material you want him to use, guys.

You must have missed the update, there is no specification for cape material, Shawn was showing off images of various materials as he worked towards a good one, the last one he showed us, the one in pjam's pictures, is the only material available.

Hey guys,
Sorry id this email seems a bit impersonal and generic, but everyone seems to have the same question so I figured I would just address it in one email.

You don't have to worry about getting the wrong cape material. They will all be made with the thin lightly textured vinyl. Most of the photos I sent to Paul were test shots and do not reflect various options that are available. The first stuff had a nice texture, but was far too thick to use. The texture on that stuff was VERY pronounced, too. The stuff I settled on is really thin and lightly textured. It has the right texture, but it's not visually overbearing. I've enclosed a photo to be sure we're on the same page.

As for making a Bob figure to go with Batman, I might be open to that. I'll have to take a look at the movie again and really study him to see what would be involved.

I've wanted one of these figures for a long time, so this is the perfect excuse to do it. Shawn does fantastic work, I'd be very proud to have this figure on my shelf.
