Yeah Josh, I think he said he would make a deal available to any SS Freak member. I think Paul said that some where on this thread.

As for Maulfan I can wait for you to get this figure... I think I'm looking forward to you getting it more than me!

BTW: Does anyone know what body this figure is on? Dragon, BBi, Hot Toys or even a SS Buck?

I've wanted one of these figures for a long time, so this is the perfect excuse to do it. Shawn does fantastic work, I'd be very proud to have this figure on my shelf.

Same here, I heard about the Sovereign Batman some time ago and have scoured eBay from time to time, but the decent Batman customs on there go for a usual minimum $200 and some aren't even worth that much, but this deal for Shawn's is perfect, the second Paul got this whole thing going, I didn't hesitate to follow it, can't wait to play with it, and then "it can be truly said that I have a bat in my belfry."

Thanks, I'll tell ya, it's a great figure and that alone is worth getting excited over, but ever since this whole thing go rolling, and Shawn's pictures were posted in here with that beautiful head sculpt, the images have just been building in my brain. I was watching the film the other night picking out things I want to recreate and figuring out how I can achieve them on the smaller scale. I'm so pumped, I think I'm going to do some shots of my Batmobile just to tide me over.

Just received an email from Shawn, slightly unrelated. Well mostly unrelated. Early on in this thread I had a whinge about how long Shawn had taken with another figure he was making for me, The Pirate. Well he tells me it is ready and will be shipping out along with the Keaton Batman when he gets that done. Here's a pic.

He really is talented, I mean, that's not only the best job at doing 1/6 dreads and such for Jack's hair, but it also looks perfect. I've seen some good ones, but man did he nail it, and just imagine how much less than the Cinemaquette his price would be for this figure, and it's 100 times more accurrate.

Yes, you are quite right. I am one happy camper. In fact you could say I pitched a tent when Shawn sent me the pics.

Thanks for bringing this to fruition, Pjam, for all the people on the list. It has been a tad stressful waiting, especially with some of the press Shawn has been given. I knew I would have to be patient, especially when he takes so much pride in each figure he makes. I hope this will restore people faith in him to deliver. I envisage a few more names adding to the list as these roll out. Your work here is not yet done.

Of course you do. You'll be at the end of the line. A minimum of three months before he'll be able to get round to yours. Most likely even more than that because life has a habit of getting in the way, plus he probably has other work to do as well.
