I havent really been following this thread but have popped in a couple of times before but I got to say . . this figure is freaking awesome!!!!

The 89 Batman is easily my favourite in the series and this movie gave us the definative Batman. Keatons visage is perfectly captures and I love the body suit and the drapped cape, all the detaisl are dead on!! Whats the scope on availablilty of this figure as of now guys??

I thought it looked 1/6 scale too but I wasn't sure. Wish it were cheaper.

I'd say availability is good right now, just a typical wait period if you're at the end of the list, like a couple months, nothing different than Sideshow or Hot Toys would have after a preview.

Not only does this figure look incredible but the asking price blew me away also . . you sure get a lot of bang for your buck!

The signature swish of the arms and cape is straight out of the movie, awesome work P and WG!!

As far as that puncture, I'm sure there is an easy fix, maybe close it up from the outside and tape it in back with electrical tape?

I'm sure someone here has a good solution.

Here is a review From DekDave... Hope it's Okay to Post as he was the first to order this...

"Maybe you can post this on the Keaton board. You can let pjam know my Batman arrived from Shawn so he can update his list accordingly.

This is a top-notch, high quality figure. For only$125 it is a steal. He easily looks like he could have been produced by Hot Toys. The pleather cape is absolutely perfect, love the texture, and drapes naturally on his body and under the cowl. The rubber boots, gloves and body armor all look like the real deal, like it jumped right out of the film. The cowl is perfect. You almost believe that you can take the cowl off and there would be a Keaton sculpt under it. My Bat emblem and belt are actually painted more "gold" than "yellow" like pjam's.

Les e-mailed me and said he gave Shawn some input to make it look more authentic but looking at the DVD right now the bat emblem actually looks more ""yellow" like pjam's so that is my only nit-pick. I don't think the gold is accurate. The only thing lacking on this figure is a Batarang and a Grapple-gun but since his gloves are molded with closed-fists it's kind of pointless. You would need another set of gloves open-handed like Hot Toys does with their figures to hold the accessories. Still, for posing or just displaying this Batman is unbeatable. He will probably never be officially licensed and this is as good as you are going to get.

He just needs a display box to put behind him, like the one Les made. If only somebody would make Anton Furst's Batmobile in 1:6 scale I would be in Bat-heaven."

PS. The emblem was yellow. It's accurate.

Dittos. Dekdave is surely missed. You guys who DON'T want a gold emblem should prolly email shawn and let him know. It is yellow, the Logo is yellow and I have the new DVD and it is clearly yellow...

True dat. The emblem IS yellow.

The belt can be either GOLD or YELLOW. In Batman, it was yellow most of the film, until the final battle in the tower when they switched to gold. The belt then remained gold for Batman Returns.

Are the cowl points that stiff? I figured they were soft. Maybe they should be pointing out more instead of down and curved.

You guys should check with Shawn, but I would think a little heating up with a hairdryer would soften them enough that you could "bend" them straighter if you like.

As for the cowl, I'm glad to see Coco's pictures and have Dave's review, wonder why yours is the only yellow emblem Paul, did you say something to him or did the roll of the dice favor you? I'm going to email him.

I don't know Dave any better than any of you guys. I received a third party PM requesting I post his review because I organized this. In it he said his emblem was gold. Mine was yellow, prolly the first shipped and most likey before any changes were made.
