Got him today. Looks great but god he reeks of cigarette smoke

That's odd, mine just smelled like the rubber materials having been sealed up in shipping, kinda like Sideshow's Jabba.

I just got Bats today and he is amazing. As good as any thing sideshow would ever put out. Plus you get a bonus, if you scratch his Bat chest you will smell some bat smoke.

Got Bats today and I have to say that this is simply the most amazing Batman figure I have in my collection. I placed him next to the Takara Batman for comparrision and well Keaton basically chewed up that Bale kid and spat him out. I love this thing.
And yeah the first thing I noticed was the nicotine smell. The price for a great Batman toy.:chew:chew

I just have the Hot Toys... and again Keaton is way better looking. Of course the suit of the Begins is more complete (not being custom).

But, side by side its Shawn's Bats all the way!

What's great about that shot is Hot Toys Bats has a mouth expression like he peaked at Keaton out of the corner of his eye and now he's like "aww he's way cooler than me..."

I said it before but Shawn's Batman makes HT Bats look very toy like.

No idea, you better email him and ask, I did PayPal and as far as I know everyone else did also.

Those of you guys that got Batman's smelling like cigarettes should email Shawn about that if it bothers you enough, Shawn seems very receptive to his customers, and it's not a cheap item so if it bothers you enough definitely see if you can work something out with him.

The more I look at it, the less toy-like I find it, it's just that the emotional expression on the HT head is almost like a sad clown, where Keaton looks stern and serious and focused, all the things Batman should be.

The more I look at it, the less toy-like I find it, it's just that the emotional expression on the HT head is almost like a sad clown, where Keaton looks stern and serious and focused, all the things Batman should be.

I think alot of it has to do with the paint apps and the eyes on the HT Bats too. Shawn's has a bit more realism to it.
