Re: Keaton Batman

Six weeks, to the day, Grange. Don't forget Shawn had a bout of the dreaded lurgy in that time, so it may take a little longer for you. Though he started slow and really picked up the pace. I guess he's trying to make everyone's Christmas a beaut. He's not just a machine, he's a craftsman and an artisan.

Now that I've had mine for a few days, I'm starting to appreciate it more. It just great the way light interacts with it to really give it atmosphere. I'm going to have to borrow a hairdryer, cause I can't wait long enough for another hot day to dewrinkle his cape. After pondering on it, the only thing I think it could use to make it better is some accessories. Mainly just some extra hands. It may have been mentioned before but the hands are rubber fists. There's no hands inside them. It don't come with a stand cause it don't need one. The boots are solid, covering the ankle area, with a softer rubber from there to the top of his boots.

Do yourself a favour. Iffen you like Batman, get this one, while Shawn is hitting his stride. I've put my Hot Toys Batman away, because it's just embarrassing in comparison, which is kinda strange cause, there's no one here but me.

Re: Keaton Batman

Ya, extra hands would have been cool, or at least his batarang or batgun. In the end though, it's a great representation of '89 Keaton Batman, and as a display piece it is stunning and very accurrately represents the movie, it's an amazing, one of my favorites. I found that the wrinkles in my cape came out with play, I never had to heat it or anything, just posing and reposing it many times for images worked the wrinkles out.

Re: Keaton Batman

How do I get on that list? I contacted Shawn weeks ago with no response. I need that batman. I must have it. Should I email him, or just send a payment to him with shipping info? Someone let me know please. I would aprreciate it.

Thanks.

I'd email Shawn again and wait for a response before just sending payment. I can imagine how cramped his schedule is with all the orders for this. He's definitely not the quickest at replying to inquirys but hang in there.

Re: Keaton Batman

Woohoo, just got contacted by Shawn and he said Im on the list. I just dont know what number though.

I was a bit hesitant to get another 89 Keaton, as I had one already, but figured you cant have enough Batmen....

Re: Keaton Batman

Hey guys, I got this on ebay a while back. the cowl looks awesome and is removable. here' s some shots.

Re: Keaton Batman

Ya, that is impressive, the cowl doesn't look 100% true to Returns, and for that it looks better to me. The cape hangs nicely. I wonder if that's a Shawn Returns figure.

Thats one of the Henry Wayne figures I posted about above. The Cowl is removeable (with some heating up) and he had include two heads, one to dispaly in the cowl and one of Micheal Keaton head.
