Guess some of you missed this part:

"I'm way fat, but I'm not there just yet," Smith wrote on his Twitter.com account after the incident, adding that he was able to lower both arm rests at his seat. "I broke no regulation."

I've always disliked KS. But it looks like he was within the rules.

Nevertheless, it's a wake up call when you get called out like that. Lose weight bra!

Southwest planes actually have notoriously small seats from what I've read. I myself am a pretty big guy 6'5 230.

Last year when I went to Florida I didn't have a problem on the ride there with me and my friend sharing a 3 seat bench and it wouldn't have been a problem for a third.

On the ride back our flight included the Manchester, New Hampshire arena football team. Some of those guys made me look tiny. I ended up sitting with a WR and the kicker of the team, so no problems.:lol

"I'm fat, but not that fat" excuse...lol. He needs to shut up and get on the treadmill.

I don't see where he's making excuses. In an article I read, he usually buys two seats on every plane trip, but he couldn't or didn't on this one for some reason.

I would love to sit with him on a plane trip. I bet it wouldn't be boring.

btw........isn't Southwest Airlines the one that was featured on that Airline show, I think on A&E or something? Most of the time they didn't make themselves look good. They were constantly screwing passengers over.

Listen to his podcast. It's pretty long but shows how way out of line the airline was.

It really made no sense and they are clearly going to get a ton of ____ for this.

It was interesting to hear the whole story about what happened to him and then have him tell about the poor girl sitting next to him. Unbelievable!

Inconceivable is what it was.

I dont see why people actually fly Southwest.

And this could be a new movie for Smith. Fat Guy on a Plane.

It's ____ing cheap, that's why. I paid $225.00 round trip for my flight from San Antonio to San Diego last year.

I tried listening to his smodcast...but it was too damn long. The guy rambles on and on and gets sidetracked. Wish he could have condensed his story to maybe 20-30 minutes...then I would have listened to it all.

yes but he makes a decent amount of money, so why be so cheap? And I hear about alot of Celebrities using it.

In his smodcast he said he only uses it for short flights like Vegas and San Francisco. He also said he usually purchases two seats anyway because he wants the space and can afford it.
