Killzone 3?

The KZ3 campaign can be beat in literally 6 hours...if someone doesn't play multiplayer that's $10 an hour, for 6 hours.

Kinda lame.

I'm going to try to play through campaign on elite, and I have almost every trophy except the beating it on elite and the DLC multiplayer ones. I like 76%.

I do want the new DLC, the two new maps look wicked.

You gotta give a bit of the online some love Solid. Games have no life really if you don't wear out the MP.

its a great game man single and online I just dont think i will have the time to play it to much online.

too busy with WOW right now lol and when BF3 comes out I will be all over that.

the single player campaing might be short but its epic.
it has lots of amazing moments that you will remember forever.

Really? Besides the MAWLR fight and the stealth mission, I've already forgotten it all.

I think KZ2 had a better story and better online multiplayer.

I see it all like one game it continues right after.
anyways its a great game and I am glad i am playing it.
I am more pumped for BF3 that any game out there.

Ehh, it's a solid game. On one hand KZ has always been underrated, but this latest installment kind of deserves it.

I'm more interest to see if Brink can deliver.

Nice price ..i will only ever buy these short life games when they go cheap at play.com ..but any good jrpg i buy straight away, most of which last for ages with all the side missions and long story.

Give the online a bit more love than World of Warcraft. You won't regret it.

Ha, the story has been almost every reviews nitpick as to how weak the narrative and character development is. The two that spring to mind are here, but every review I've read have cited the weak story and dropped multiplayer modes as the two biggest downfalls.

From IGN:
"Every action you do in Killzone is immersive; the combat more intense and savage than other shooters. It's this design that makes Killzone 3 so engrossing and fun despite its weak story."

I like the story regardless of what they say and I think it's a really fun game.

Finally got the Platinum and 100% of the expansion pack trophies. Totally worth it as the online is much, much better than 2's IMO. The hardest online trophy to get was the Automata for the People. Hard as hell to find a match with an opposing team that had all 3 of the droids. I accidentally stalked a guy with a medical drone, and after that I went to get the rest of them.

Seriously? Seems like every game has all 3 in it....bots and droids everywhere.

Yeah it was a PITA for me. The medical bot was the only one I've had problems finding.

The hit detection on this is DUMB.

I have clear headshots and I take them, but apparently you can't shot through holes, and between metal bars, and through anything really.

What would be clear hits in any other shooter and in real life don't apply in killzone.

I for once would like a FPS that is close to real life as possible. First person hit dies. You don't pour lead into anyone to have them leap 6 feet towards you while slitting your throat.

If allies or foes fall dead in front of you, their corpses become a trap. You can't get around them and you become stuck, and with more enemies filtering in the room you're automatically dead because the two guys you just wasted are trapping you in. And some might argue "but bodies in real life are obstacles and you want as close to reality as possible" well yes, but I could jump over them or use them for cover, they don't make an invisible wall that I get stuck on.

I also love it when enemies camp spawns because they are clearly marked on the map. I like the random spawning from COD, but here, they can just sit by in disguise or cloaked and spawn kill you. Or run their and just throw a mortor strike on it again and again.

Tonight made me hate it even more.
