Because this story couldn't be told in just 2 hours.

He's in it a decent amount, certainly more than GodZilla was in his last movie.

But you're also going to have to spend a bunch of time with horrible human characters. I'm curious to how the reception will be here because I thought this was the worst movie I've seen this year so far
