Just watched this now, I agree with everything, especially the weird editing.

I even agree with the only two characters that were tolerable were John C Reilly and Samuel Jackson's characters.

This really is the Jurassic World of the 2017, except I find it much worse than that movie.

I liked Jurassic World, but I do not have high hopes for this. I would be shocked if I liked it (like I was with JW).

I didn't hate Jurassic World either, I found it entertaining even though I know it isn't really a good movie. Kong was never boring, but it was so bad I couldn't help but be entertained.

Jurassic World was hot garbage. The trailer for Skull Island is better than the whole of Jurassic World. Looking forward to it.

Tonally it's all over the place. It starts off fairly serious, but once John C Reilly is introduced it goes from sort of serious to to comedy and then that comedy can turn campy even during intense scenes. Then sprinkled in are some pseudo heart felt moments between Brie Larson and Kong that feels way too forced. There's scenes in this movie that will insult your intelligence

I want to say almost every major character has a pretty cringe worthy scene in the movie. But John C Reilly and Samuel Jackson are likable enough that they're tolerable while on screen. Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson are the absolute worst though.

Again, I can't wait for people to see what plays during the credits.

Hey man, the trailers for Suicide Squad was better than the entirety of that movie, trailers usually are better than bad movies

I like the Kong trailers, so I went into this pretty optimistic. Plus the director is supposed to be working on a Metal Gear Solid movie next, and now that scares me.

Yeah, I almost read some stuff in the Logan thread yesterday. What's really to spoil about a Kong movie. Safe to say if they're building a monsterverse and setting up Kong VS Godzilla he's not going to die in this one. And no one cares about the humans

You'd be amazed what some people out in the forum universe consider spoilers, some won't even watch trailers cuz they don't want to be spoiled, but then it's like, why are you in a forum talking and reading about it then, but they ***** so I added it here to protect the whiners.
