Again, BS. Read my last comment. I remember it vividly. And it was very shortly after that that we had our first look at the headsculpt that cemented my suspiscions.

Maybe, but I don't think anyone can say for sure - personally I don't agree.

"that guy needs to fart"

The refrigerator from the test site would have been a good exclusive. :p

that's a good idea. indy could be boxed in a 1/4 fridge, instead of the usual cardboard.

bad likeness and looks 2 decades too old. i'm content with my raiders pf.

I see bestbuy.com still has the SSC Crystal Skull for sale at $36.99. Is that what it costs in stores? I may have to drive down to BB and see if they have any. If so the exclusive will probably get the axe. Can't see much need for two artifacts on pedestals, especially when one is hardly recognizable as being from the movie.

does sideshow even listen to its core customer base anymore?

compare a temple of doom pf with a pensioner crystal skull indy, i think most ppl would definitely prefer the former over the latter.

i'd prob buy the doom pf if it was the rope bridge scene. very iconic. :whip

I'm sure its already been commented on, but why wasn't the Crystal Skull included or at least the exclusive?

Sideshow's deal with Lucasfilm & Best Buy for the Exclusive DVD boxed set prohibited them from making the 1:4 Crystal Skull available otherwise.

I'm curious if you can swap the Raiders PF head and put it on this one for that iconic Indy pose. Not gonna buy it to find out though.

LOL! You show me that in the final product and not Herman Munster and then I will be wrong sir.

When I have to try to um.... SEE the sculpt then I WONT pay. Bottom line is the first Indy was far superior. I try not to bash lately but this is a pure joke.

I might also add while I really have no interest in this piece. I will say that Harrison is tough enough to sculpt young and they made a good attempt at the age. However, IMO it looks nothing like him.

The fact is, the sculpt is fantastic. The unpainted sculpt does not have a Geico Caveman forehead or the nose of Jimmy Durante. So there's something going on with the paint and/or the photography. I'm not going to pass judgment on this until I see it in person at SDCC.

(However, I'm still not sure whether or not I want to drop three hundred bucks on a piece from the least of the films...)
