do you guys have a link?????

Here you go, managed to find it. https://alanmorlock.tumblr.com/post/85291487018/legendary-godzilla-concept-art-from-the-art-of They really came at a lot of angles with this, and I'm glad they decided to not go too crazy and keep "It must look like Godzilla" as their primary goal. We could have easily ended up with another Zilla if they hadn't, as cool as some of these are. Seriously, porcupine and fish fins?

It's really a shame this was our first look at the new Godzilla because based on every other image we've seen it's the worst image of him out there.

Yeah looking at those, I'm happy with what they chosen. Oh my god they came awfully close to not learning **** since 1998. Scary.

Someone elsewhere mentioned these were done really early on just to give some direction for the real design process, I see some elements here and there taken from these sketches so they weren't for nothing.

This was concept art for Gojira early on trying to make his head look like a mushroom cloud.

Very in style of Steve Miner's rejected project.

you can see the early workings of the final design here, the spines and over all shape of the body, it's nice but Im happy with what we are getting.

I'm glad to see the book is full of all these Godzilla designs, I may not like a lot of them, but I hoped that Art of Destruction would extensively cover the process to design him and the early preview pages focused on sets more so I was a bit nervous.

Here's some more.

Are there going to be any pictures left to see after you post all of these ;) :)

From Catfishzilla to Pigzilla. I can see now why it took them a year to come up with the one that's on the screen--everything they tried ended up being a dead end or sucking big time. I absolutely love the MUTO artwork. That monster is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
