Broke and happy
The only thing I assumed off those trailers was that Godzilla was going to **** humanity up!
Godzilla (2014) is definitely better than that piece of hot steaming **** with Ferris Bueller and The Professional where they made Godzilla a Jurassic Park T-Rex.
You're crazy.
Call me crazy but I'll probably watch the 98 one again before 2014, unless they have a massive re-edit of 2014 that includes the hawaii battle. But Godzilla VS Mechagodzilla is the best there is.
He is right about the 20,000 Fathoms connection though.
He sure is.
But 1998 isnt really enjoyable tp me. A) I'd rather be bored with ATJ than be annoyed by matthew Broderick and that ditzy chick. B) its just a depressing film. I feel bad for the monster and its children. Its a sad movie. Just a creature changed by mankind trying to find a home and survive. Its not a fun movie imo. Its tragic.

Yeah it felt unjustified. If Godzilla was truly a villainous creature than okay but he wasn't. He was a victim. It should have had more of a melancholy ending that would have had a more memorable impact on the audience.

Yeah, I was legitimately sad for the dying creature, and then I'm supposed to applaud because you killed an animal you created in the first place? How?... by trapping it and then putting a bullet to it's head in a defenseless state? yaaay….
I went to watch this today and didn't really like it. I couldn't make out most of the movie because it was way too dark. The night scenes were nearly unwatchable and the day scenes were lacking so many colors. So I come home, I re watched all the the trailers and download a movie screener and came to the conclusion that the theater where I watched it messed up the projection some how. Did some googling and found out there's a problem going around where movie theater are leaving a special type of lens used for 3d projection that can make 2d projections 50% to 80% darker than it should.
I'm going back there tomorrow and ask for a freaking refund.
Just thought I share it with you guys. Don't let it happen to you. Here's an article about it.
