Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

It's cool you bought a dining room table for your SSD, VASith. :lol

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

Wow, why wasn't SW legos out when I was a kid? The X-Wing and TIE fighter look boss.

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

Ah... Here we go:

10221

So are those two massive lego parts running across the top of the ship?

So far it's 3 separate sections and I'm about 30% done with the top section. The guy who created this is a genius.

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

I shouldn't have come into this thread. There's some darn cool stuff in here. :lol

So does the SS Destroyer go for a lower price than the $359 amazon had it for in March?
Or is it best to wait for a clearance sale?!?!

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

It can be a little dangerous to wait for clearance on something like that. You might end up having to pay through the nose on the secondary market.

Yes and no. I'd wait for a LEGO/site store sale for this set. Oddly enough they have sales on these sets around the holidays. I think my wife got the UCS Falcon for around $350 shipped a few years back.

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

I used my LEGO VIP reward points when I bought mine at my local LEGO store. I started saving them up specifically for something like the SSD so I think I had around $250 or so saved up by the time I bought it. That took a nice huge sting out of the price for me.

Re: LEGO Star Wars - anyone?

Great little set.... I've still yet to buy the Tie Fighter and X-Wing so I have lots of lego goodness to look forward to this year.

Hey Nick, how long do releases stay on the shelf? So these newer ones from the January round of releases, will they be around till the holidays? After that?
