Will do. Thanks guys.
I need to find spray for sprained muscles.

Trip went well. Paints acquired! It was a long, long travel day. Had to ride all the way there and back without the AC to save gas in the van, and it was HOT today. Still paints acquired! Now, I can continue this week unabated.
I hate living in a small town with NO decent hobby shops or Art Supply stores. Ebay and online helps, but sometimes, you want to stand there and just shop for the paints and stuff you need.

Anyway, back to it!

Thanks for the update Les. I can't think of many remedies for your thumb other than some "Icy/Hot" or a warm rag compress to help relax the muscles when you're not using that hand that much. Maybe even a heating pad? :dunno

I'm glad to hear that you're making progress knocking out the work, and shipping. I know that's a good feeling for you! :) Keep it up...you'll get there, I just know it! :clap

Take it easy Les. Make sure you try some stretching exercises too. Before and after painting.

Les brother, long time, no speak! Hope all is good...been following the thread when I can. It's been pretty hectic over here for me. Work, life, y'know!

Anyways, I'll see if I can drop you an email soon to say hello and catch-up.

:wave

Hectic here too, buddy! :panic:

Phone calls and emails coming guys! :rock Hang in there.

No email with Houston addy to my knowledge. Just checked and no update in my files....

Crazy, crazy, crazy here. My dad is scheduling a surgery for next week, and I am kinda addled about it all. SO much going on workwise, and now this. But, I can handle it. Anxiety meds do work. LOL.

Anyway, thanks guys. Sorry I have been so awol, but just painting and painting and painting and not doing much else makes Les a dull boy.
Good news coming though. If I can keep my head straight! LOL!

Added: Strike that above, DarkKnight, found the email! It just got by me. I get a lot of emails. New info Saved and stuff update soon! :rock

Okay Les. Great to hear you're painting like a "madman". :clap I'll give you a quick call today. I'm sorry I missed yours. I was asleep. But I did get your voice mail message. Sorry.

I'll talk to you soon. :)

Hi Les. It was great talking to you on the phone yesterday. Even if our call wasn't that long. :wave I look forward to getting the Reeve Clark Kent head sculpt and Daily Planet paper from you soon! I sent you an e-mail about them a little while ago. Stay strong, keep "fighting the good fight" and you'll make it to the end of the painting. I know you can do it! :clap

"V.B.R." as always Les!

Mike

Well, the Daily Planet's most popular "mild-mannered reporter" arrived here yesterday! :yess: Well, his head did! I finally got the GREAT Christopher Reeve as Clark Kent painted head sculpt from Les! It comes with his big "nerdy" eyeglasses on his head. Les also graciously threw in a 1/6 scale Daily Planet newspaper actually printed on real newsprint paper! Okay, here come the pictures! Once again these heads from Les are truly works of ART! You can appreciate them from afar by the pictures, but to hold one in your hands...is an experience in itself!

Now for the Daily Planet newspaper!

I love the headline at the upper-left corner titled "Has The Man Of Steel Really Returned?"

The back page of the newspaper...

Thank you SO much once again Les! I promise to make the best Clark Kent figure I can using your OUTSTANDING head sculpt! I hope to get a business suit and fedora hat soon like he wore in the first movie! I'll try to find a cream colored, or light brown trenchcoat too. I found a good dark blue suit that I think would work out great over at www.monkeydepot.com. Here's the link to it. What do you think Les, and everyone else?

I found a dark blue or black fedora hat at another website, but I can't remember which one it was right now. I'll find out soon.

Good for you Mike! Enjoy him my friend. The focal length on those photos makes him look even more nerdy that usual! LOL!
And for the record, I didn't make the newpaper, it was made for me by someone else ages back. I just knew you'd want it for your Clark. I wish I had another one! LOL!
Enjoy and can't wait to see the intrepid reporter in your collection.

Glad to see some things getting to people. I have been sending out as much as I could lately.

More to come!

Note: My dad is having surgery next Wednesday (the 23rd) so I will not be available for work or emails, etc. from the 22nd to at least the Sunday after, so I can take care of him. I am trying to ship out what I can that's done before, but most will have to wait til after.
It won't be long now on a lot of it anyway, but I wanted you all to know that was happening so you'd know why I wasn't in here much next week. Thanks for your understanding. Les

Good to see some action continuing in this thread. Great work Les! Can't wait to see what else is in store!

P.S., We'll be thinking about you and your Dad next week Les.

Congratz JediMike71!!! best Reeve sculpt I have ever seen!!!

Les you did an amazing job! FigureGOD is more like it.

Yeah guys, this Clark Kent is awesome to say the least! :clap I hope to get the head on a body, and and a suit for him soon. :)

I hope that your Dad's surgery and recovery goes well Les. What is he having surgery for, if you don't mind me asking? I forgot to ask you about it on the phone the other day.
