Logan (2017) Speculation

He's awesome but gave me a bit of a hard time too. I now have him like this:

Definitely in the mood for a bit more aggressive pose after the movie now though.

The only problem with DOFP Wolverine and a more aggressive pose is the face. :/ Now if HT does a Logan figure and gives him areal nice screaming or snarling face, I'd get it.

Exactly, love the sculpt and even the expression in most cases but I hate not being able to pose him in a more aggressive way.

In all honesty I don't really know what look I'd even want from this film for a figure. Maybe the jeans with tank top (maybe a swap out bloody version) and blue button down shirt. Two pairs of claw hands would be nice too. One clean pair and one bloody pair.

Okay saw the movie and so want a Logan and Laura Hot Toys 1/6 scale figures so bad. I'm hoping they do a Logan where he is in his clothes when they go to the hotel/casino and have a set of clothes to change him with the white tank top and claws of course. Laura I would want her to have the same clothes she changed into when they go to the hotel/casino and have to have those sunglasses too. Want these so bad right now!

I'd like the suit version too but it'd be fairly easy to bash, even with the wolverine figure, just swap the black shirt for a white one. I'd buy two if they came with different face sculpts, full beard and third act.

No idea. But a single headsculpt just won't cut it for this film. You need the full beard look and the classic Wolvie beard from late in the film, perhaps in combination with his 'berserker' expression.

I haven't owned a Wolverine figure since I sold my Origins version. I would buy him back into the collection if Hot Toys made a figure from this film.

Agreed, Logan's always needed two sculpts, aggressive and passive since they started making figures of him. Here's hoping they get something done.

Well just got back from the film. While Logan is almost a given, I'd still love it if HT (or some other 3rd party company) made Laura.

Having loved and followed X-23's character all the way back from X-Men: Evolution up to her appearances in the comics, I was really happy with how they adapted her character into live-action and her along with Logan have become must-haves for me should they get made into 1/6 figures. I also like how they made her younger than how she's normally depicted (she's closer to 14-15 in the comics when she left the facility), especially since I felt that it served to enhance the whole father-daughter dynamic that she was always meant to have with Wolverine.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I guess I will throw the cold water into the collective face...to put things into perspective...Dr Strange - the movie released in November of 2016...pictures were shown before / around September of 2016 with the figure being promised for release in September-ish of 2017...realistically if Hot Toys were going to release a Logan figure anyone who wanted it would have already paid their NRD to Sideshow and we would all be discussing the likeness of the headsculpt...there will not be a Logan figure and all of the e-mails to Hong Kong will not change that...sorry...

You do realize Hot Toys have released figures later on after the film was released. Days of Future Past Wolverine didn't get released up for order until later that year when the movie was released months ago so there is a possisble chance we will get a Logan figure but still it is debatable. Again just because it isn't released right away for a movie coming out doesn't mean it won't get made.

Time is not an issue with HT. The only thing that could stop this happening is Fox refusing it to be licensed.

Im confident we will get a Logan figure. Im also confident it will be one and done. no x23/xavier and no 2nd wolvie figure. And way overpriced. (judging by Rocket Racoon) Higher than DOFP
