I'm going to agree with this. While I enjoyed Deadpool I just have a hard time wrapping my head around how he can make jokes about Patrick Stewart, James Mcavoy and Hugh Jackman - the actors playing Xavier and Wolverine in movies that Deadpool has apparently seen - and yet it's supposedly set within the Fox-men universe. It's funny but I just....it....I....

Yeah, exactly. Deadpool is it's own thing, and that's cool. I like those references.

But trying to force those characters into that world is just a dumb idea. Logan didn't take place in a Deadpool/Last Action Hero world, so don't cram Jackman in there. Logan was a great swan song, don't taint it with a stupid cameo.

I can agree with the hate train. No problem with the voice, but it works best when Bats has little to say. When he delivers a lengthy monologue Bale strains to get it all out and it hurts.

He must have frrrrrriends. :rock

Should have just delivered them normally and digitized later like Batfleck. At least that is what I think they did.

Oh I agree.

Bale not only had the most dialogue of any Batman, but he also had to display the most emotions with his voice while in costume, which is not something the other Batman had to do.

That's how you go from saying, "You'll be in a padded cell forever!" to sounding like you said, "Your peanut butter will chill forever!!

lolololololol

You just asking to be schooled by DiFabio now lol

No, Prince is right. He's just as goofy in TDK.

I'd argue he's a little more goofy in TDKR though since his mouth is open in every scene. In TDK, he's only having trouble breathing/talking/thinking at the end. In TDKR, he's always mouth agape, tongue out tardin'.

And Evilface is right, he's okay when he's talking to Dent in the alley or chilling with Fox. I liked that calm, "it's Beautiful, isn't it line". When he's saying more than a couple of words though, watch out! He doesn't sound as good as he did in Begins, but it's alright. He does come off as a dope in the last two though. I don't think the voice or mannerisms is nitpicking. He looks and sounds like he took too many blows to the ****ing head. Rocky Balboa is more graceful and eloquent than he is.

Back on topic, Jackman never came off as goofy as Wolverine/Logan. Well, except that one time where he had those video game looking claws in Origins. Or the weird hair in the beginning of X2. :lol

I do kind of love what somebody pointed out. That Logan, essentially, says "the X-Men failed and the whole world went to ****, anyway," which is about as realistic an outcome as any.:lol

But but but "Where is da trigger!"

Maybe I need to revisit TDKR sometime to remind myself of the difference. Could be that the same costume is throwing me off. :lol Quick Jye, PM me some examples of TDK Bale and TDKR Bale and I'll test my memory of which is which!

This is, uh, Batman Begins right.

Xavier got a very depressing ending when you think about it. In his advancing years his brain goes into decline and he ends up accidentally killing his X-men. Whenever he is brought back to lucidity he has to live with the guilt over that. Then the one piece of happiness he experiences worsens his feelings of guilt even further making him break down in tears and pour his heart out to Logan....who isn't Logan. Then he gets skewered. Man, brutal.

I don't know. Jackman had a few bad hair days and his Wolverine suits had bell bottoms :lol

In X3 his hair looked like Gary Oldman's Dracula.

Atleast he finally found peace in his death.

What is really sad is that Charles and the farmer husband/father assumed Logan was X-24 right before dying. :monkey2

Why would Hugh Jackman suddenly reprise his role in a Wolverine costume?

He wore an X-suit in every X-Men movie and in the last one personally pushed for the classic colors to be part of it.

In Logan, Wolverine criticizes spandex tights, not body armor which he's worn many times.

I think to want Hugh Jackman to return just so he can wear a stupid costume shows how ridiculous the smelly man-babies really are when it comes to these superhero movies.

Logan was a fine ending for Jackman. He shouldn't return, same for Stewart.

Just bring in a new actor for Wolverine and introduce him in Deadpool, then possibly use him in X-Force, or just retire the character, I really don't care anymore. Logan is the final superhero movie that I see myself actually being excited for and really enjoying, hopefully I'm wrong and some decent stuff starts getting made from the MCU, DCEU, and Fox. Nothing coming up looks all that great.

Why do you want him in Deadpool 2 so badly? I don't get it.

No, I didn't get the sense that the farmer thought Logan was X-24, I think he was just pissed that his inviting Logan to dinner brought this **** show down on his family and cost him everything.

He looked puzzled to me, not to mention he fired his rifle at Logan. But yeah, there's that too (which is just as tragic if not more so).
