Broke and happy
I thought farmer dad was going to kill himself.
Why do you want him in Deadpool 2 so badly? I don't get it.
I think to want Hugh Jackman to return just so he can wear a stupid costume shows how ridiculous the smelly man-babies really are when it comes to these superhero movies.
Logan was a fine ending for Jackman. He shouldn't return, same for Stewart.
Just bring in a new actor for Wolverine and introduce him in Deadpool, then possibly use him in X-Force, or just retire the character, I really don't care anymore. Logan is the final superhero movie that I see myself actually being excited for and really enjoying, hopefully I'm wrong and some decent stuff starts getting made from the MCU, DCEU, and Fox. Nothing coming up looks all that great.

He looked puzzled to me, not to mention he fired his rifle at Logan. But yeah, there's that too (which is just as tragic if not more so).
The opportunity for his costume has now come and gone, they had many chances, time for a new actor.
Deadpool 2 is set during the heyday of the X-Men alluded to in Logan that we've only seen via Colossus and Negasonic in DP1. It makes perfect sense to feature them there in said heyday.
Again, Stewart's already in talks and Jackman will absolutely do it so these back and forth arguments are ****ing pointless.
You don't have to watch DP2 lol
Jackman talking to FOX executive footage.

Yeah Stewart is now babbling about about returning lol
So that means that not only will Logan/Wolverine and Charles Xavier be in a world where they're the butt of jokes about how they're fictional (and that it's all just a Hollywood movie), but they'll also exist in a world where this has happened,

Ew. Now it really doesn't make sense.

Nope, that was the old timeline.
I hope Jackman and Stewart don't return to any films. It's part of what makes this movie so special... they are exiting on a high note.
I personally don't care if we don't see any of the original X-Men actors anymore... i'd be happy with:
- Deadpool / X -force films with Cable, Domino, Colossus, and anybody else they decide to add (I think Gambit should tie into these films)
- X-Men films with McCavoy, Fassbender, and the new cast from Apocalypse
- New Mutants with the rumored cast and characters, could be set in same time as Deadpool but completely different stories...
Now why did you even have to go there Snik lol
We've been through this rodeo before, the timelines in these movies don't make sense and are a jumbled up, contradicting mess. None of them add up.
"But muh Timeline B"
The events of Wolverine Origins would still have to occur since he's always been "James Howlett". The only change is that DOFP's 1973 or whatever eliminates Ryan Reynolds and the three mile island thing. In fact, Charles Xavier should look like Patrick Stewart and not be a cripple in the 1980s.
Do you even like X-Men comics? lol I'm all but convinced that you've never read one.
This.
Or hell, if you gotta have Wolverine in there, just do what they did with Colossus and remake the character from the ground up.
I've read the important ones when I was younger but I don't remember much, nor care about superheroes anymore. I think they're all ridiculous, but I do think there's enough source material for a filmmaker to use and elevate those stories in live action like The great superhero movies have done. Unfortunately the MCU is giving the comic book nerds all the costumes they want, no need to give them a decent story. Actually, why aren't you a MCU fan? They have all the costumes you need.
What would you rather see, a Joss Whedon Batman movie or a David Fincher Batman movie? Whedon' movie will probably be a lot closer to the comics, but I'd take a new perspective on Batman from a great filmmaker like Fincher.
Logan is a far better story than Old Man Logan, but the smelly man-babies just want to see Logan in a world with inbred Hulks, Red Skull and Hawkeye.
