Almost immediately after he appeared I assumed Logan's bullet would be used on him. Which is a bit too bad because I remember watching T2 and having no idea how they were going to take out the T-1000 until moments before he "died." Cameron was always good at keeping cards like that close to the chest.

I thought it was gut wrenching when Logan ADMITTED TO A LITTLE GIRL that he was contemplating suicide, a little girl that idolized him as a daddy and as the Wolverine.

I also thought it was for Logan, since he couldn't take more injuries his brain wouldn't grow back. But they used in on a perfectly healthy Wolverine clone, I guess that's his silver bullet for this universe? I guess it works.

What redeems that for me is Logan shooting the doctor in his face while the doctor was mid sentence boasting about his successful high fructose corn syrup social engineering lol.

Yeah, he was about to do the typical villain monologue where he explains everything, but Logan ain't got time for that :lol

Poor guy, he like most villains worked very hard on his plan, but never got to talk about it :monkey2

He wasn't a perfect clone though. Real Logan in his prime would have shrugged off that shotgun blast to the face. X-24 needed the green juice to properly heal.

I haven't watched Shane in several years. Made me want to see it again. One thing I'm thinking about tonight, is which comics I read that this film feels most aligned with. And I'm thinking the mid-late '80s X-Men stuff, starting with the Morlock Massacre, and through the Fall of the Mutants. If this movie had a comic adaptation, I think Marc Silvestri would be the artist to do it most justice.

I feel bad that you hated it lol.
What can I say? Huge POS obviously :lol

Then on the other side, there's the DCU where everything's a soliloquy.
Absolutely no comparison. The DC movie writing isn't even network TV-quality.

Yeah blowing away the science guy after declaring earlier that he didn't like guns kind of makes up for the adamantium bullet telegraph. It was kind of cool and Cronenberg-esque that no one paused for a one-liner before killing anyone. Everything was quick, lethal, and messy, just like real violence.

I liked that in the John Wick movies too.

Did he really need the juice to recover or was that just to speed up the recovery?

He wasn't just shot, he got hit by the car and something large stabbed him... can't remember what it was?

I'm guessing he did need it cause he was still ****ed up the next morning during the clean up, he didn't start to recover until he had the injection, even this eye started to grow back instantly.

Sorry but there's a new king in town.

After watching it again, I can say without hesitation that this is my favorite superhero movie, and it's in my top 3-5 favorite movies in general. I'm hoping to see it again on Monday if I have time.

"Hi, I'm Zack Snyder; and you're watching Disney Channel".

MOS is a great movie. I'll never understand people who genuinely didn't like it.

Do people really want a B&W version of this movie? I'd think the stock Shane footage alone would make that weird. Plus losing the color would actually make it feel less brutal.

Got to see this last night with my kids and I thought it was surprisingly good.
Some of the violence felt a bit gratuitous and over the top for such a serious movie, but ti was kinda refreshing to see in this day and age of sanitized heroes. Too bad we had to go through some pretty mediocre X-Men movies to get here, but I suppose this bodes well the series.
Are there any more Fassbender/McAvoy movies planned? I'm sure they'd love to sink their teeth into this more "realistic" and serious tone.
