No they didn't try to make him the main villain when Caliban knocks him down silly, it was always clear he was only muscle. Maybe the marketing did, but not the movie.

But he sneaks into The Wolverine's car and gives him an Alkali card. He even sets up the main story by saying how Gabriela "stole something that belonged to him".

Don't see the issue with the dude dying by grass. If I was a mutant and has some earth power I'd use it. He also got it from every mutant standing there that used a power on him. I found his death satisfying. He wasn't a badass compared to wolverine he was a henchman.

Plus he probably suffocated in the process. Seemed pretty gruesome to me.

Nah that silly grass kill sticks out like a sore thumb in a movie with cholo head stabbings, decapitations and soldiers glancing over in slow motion at blades about to penetrate their face.

Should've at least had his eyes pop or split his head open, something gruesome and visible.

They flexed their R muscle throughout the entire movie but then decide not to on one of the main villains of the story, that makes no sense.

Grass.

Cool art.

I'd hate to see Laura recast because Dafne Keen did a fantastic job as X-23.

Being subdued by psychic mutant kids while they use grass to crush your body to death while they watch you go with blank stares isn't creepy? Okay.

It wasn't a wasted opportunity, he had visceral fights all throughout the movie, including the last one, it was a final showdown, one too big that even overwhelmed him, so the kids helping is nothing if not appropriate.

Having him randomly overpower the clone that's been already established to be way out of his league would've been dumb, Logan had to go down that way.

Those kids weren't even remotely creepy, except maybe the one with shark teeth. :lol

The entire movie has gruesome bloody deaths and decaptitations and the main villain died by.......grass, that's stupid. You can't even try and act like that was "cool" or "creepy." And they clearly tried to establish him as the main villain, it's all in the beginning of the movie. I guess you missed the part where he's in Logan's car and says that "they took something that belonged to him." They established early on that he's not going to let anything stand in the way of accomplishing his mission..........

Except grass. :lol

Yup, he deserved a better death in a movie filled with awesome deaths.

Those kids were definately the weak part of the movie for me anyways.

Yeah, they totally should have stabbed him. That would have been BAD ASS. :lol

He was basically the manager of the team of ineffective sub-sub-villains that chase the good guys until an actual formidable villain shows up, then the reveal of the "true" villain.

Stab stab stab. I can't even pretend that's not stabby.

I just watched and for the most part enjoyed X-men 3. I don't think I can co-operate with the standard view of this film.
I haven't seen it since the theater, and despised it so much at the time that I doubt I ever will see it again. Actually, along with Deadpool, the only x movie i don't have on dvd. My wife liked origins so I even have that one!

I like X3 better than Apoc. I still can't believe they put a "third one's the worst" joke in there considering the ****-show they were making.

I didn't say that he should've gotten stabbed, but that would've been better than death by grass. Lmao, even typing it sounds ridiculous.
