I liked his death. It was claustrophobic and weird. Mutants using their powers should be weird.

I didn't mind his death.

It was kind of creepy.

Also, how are they going to have tha same actress play X23 in future movies when she's a child in the future, after most mutants are dead? I feel like contriving some time-travel BS to shoehorn her in is just as inappropriate after the end of Logan as bringing him back.

I think by now, we should all agree that no one knows how time travel works.

I've given up on trying to make sense of it, and just accept whatever happens in any film or tv show that uses time travel.

I'd like to see Daphne Keen return as X-23 in a few years.

She can wear a costume too, because she's a comic book fan and a fan of Wolverine.

I can't really see me caring about X-23 outside of this movie but if they plan on using that character more then recast would be perfect.

It's really nothing to write home about, just like Carol Danvers or Batwoman, it's the female variant of a male flagship hero, ironically made for the male audience but now targeted to the female audience of non-readers.

I thought movie x-23 was more interesting.

I grudgingly agree that I do not know how time travel works.

I don't remember the lines exactly but something like..

<translated from Spanish>

Logan: I don't know how you brought me here but thank you.
Laura: <You're welcome>
Logan: You can talk?
Laura: <Yes>
Logan: *scolds her*
Laura: <How do you expect me to talk to you when all you do is yell at me and **** kdjaskldjsalkdas>

Something like that.

Cool, thanks! :duff

I was only able to get as far as "you're welcome" and "yes" on my own. ;)
No problem :duff:

Spanish was quite good in this movie, I hate it when they speak funky foreign languages, even Sicario has funky Spanish.

But then again she's half Spanish herself :lol Mexican cops also spoke well.

She also said " North Dakota, please." and "YES YES, EDEN!" She also kept repeating her friends names.
With the cutest and most innocent voice, I might add.

Boyd Holbrook was fantastic in this movie.

Anyone who can't see that can't appreciate good acting.

He was awesome in the first half of the movie, then I guess they decided they didn't want to feature him in the second half.

But he was just hired muscle, he's not even that big of a character, he's just a douche bad guy, so he fulfilled the scope of his part, it was his good acting that made him stand out, just like 80's and 90's villains, not much justification, he's just there to be cool and bad.

It made me soften a bit my expectations for him in Predator.

At first I did think his death was weak, until someone pointed out that it was creepy, and yeah, it was supposed to be creepy, not badass, he was running around and looking for cover while just doing sneaky hit and runs on Wolverine and sending his goons to the meat grinder. He didn't deserve a badass death, so it was appropriate.

So no complains from me in that regard.

Being killed by grass isn't creepy. :lol

They definitely tried to make him the main villain, atleast in the beginning. So to me his death scene was very unrewarding. Logan didn't do anything at the end, he killed a few soldiers, that's it. No big showdown or bad ass final send off. That's the biggest disappointment, that it was such a wasted opportunity.

Does this unsung hero that made you see the light have a name?

*cough*

If only we knew who this mystery person...this, myth...perhaps ...legend really was...*cough*

Not that's important or anything

*cough*

*cough*

He...might be out there...

Being subdued by psychic mutant kids while they use grass to crush your body to death while they watch you go with blank stares isn't creepy? Okay.

No they didn't try to make him the main villain when Caliban knocks him down silly, it was always clear he was only muscle. Maybe the marketing did, but not the movie.

It wasn't a wasted opportunity, he had visceral fights all throughout the movie, including the last one, it was a final showdown, one too big that even overwhelmed him, so the kids helping is nothing if not appropriate.

Having him randomly overpower the clone that's been already established to be way out of his league would've been dumb, Logan had to go down that way.
