Films with bittersweet endings tend to resonate the most with me. Empire, Fellowship, TFA, Terminator, Cap movies. Hopefully Logan can join those ranks.

A tall order but after that trailer I think it has a shot.

I have my doubts but I am hopeful that Logan pulls it off. I would love for HJ to go out with a spectacular bang.

Absolutely. The reason I think Logan *might* be great is because the trailer seemed all about conveying drama, emotion, and acting performances and wasn't really a "sizzle reel."

I found myself already moved by little things like "Someone will come along." "Someone HAS come along Logan."

Obviously you never know how something will go after a single trailer but I have a good feeling about this one so far.

Obviously you never know how something will go after a single trailer but I have a good feeling about this one so far.

Yup, you never know so I'm being cautiously hopeful.

Commercials don't do much for me nowadays. Suicide Squad had, I thought, a fantastic trailer. And the movie was as mediocre as it could be from my perspective. Hell, Zack Snyder may get movie trailer creator of the year award every time out. I would vote for the guy. On the other hand, Fury Road had a really good trailer, and a movie that was way way better than even that let on! You never know.

My expectations are not high. First Wolvie movie was a stinker. Second was MEDIOCRE. Last X-Men movie was less great than it should have been. I'll go in expecting very little, and hope to be pleasantly surprised.
