Could the War that is coming have nothing to do with the Island? Perhaps a World War, Nuclear war, and perhaps Widmore could be trying to get to the Island because it will be unaffected in the Apocalypse and be safe, a Utopia or new beginning for those that are left?

Nuclear war?

Funny that there is a hydrogen bomb on the island and when Sawyer asked Richard if they buried the bomb that he did not answer.

And what happened to Rose and Bernard? Did they end up with the Others? They have to explain where they've been for three years.

Like I posted a few weeks ago:

Also, a buddy of mine and me were talking. He is re-watching Season 1 again, and the 2 dead bodies in the cave, they had 2 stones with them, 1 white and 1 black. He believes that they are Rose and Bernard. We haven't seen them since they were attacked ealier this season....When Fogert or whatever his name was killed when the arrow got him...

Perfect foreshadowing for this show. Makes sense.

I doubt it. I think Widmore has given up on trying to get back to the Island, as he would've gotten on the plane with Locke if he wanted to get back.

I'm sure the war is on the island, because Widmore told Locke that if he's not on the island the wrong side will win, unless that means that Widmore is a bad guy and if Locke stays home, Widmore loses.

Ok, check out theory about how the Four Toed Statue is actually a statue of..........Click the link if you want to know, it's someones theory so technically it's not a SPOILER but you never know!! It is interesting, especially about the promo pic!

That's a nice theory, but I think someone's reaching a little bit. The 4-Toed Statue to me, looked like an Anubis Statue (obviously not this one, but the head looked the same)

Any ideas on why Richard would want Paul's body?

Some people are saying, that way Richard could bring back a DEAD DI member for compensation.

Love all the Egyptian theories...

But remember, Frank (and Sun) are heading over in a boat-- John Locke's group arrive on the beach with the other two boats-- Sawyer's group (in the past-- make your head spin with that one) take one of John's boats and then as they attempt to get around to the other end of the island they are chased (presumably by John's group) and Sawyer shoots.... who? John? Caesar?...

This is another one that confuses me. We know for sure that Sawyer and the gang do probably shoot one of the 316ers. But with Sawyer currently in the 70s and the 316ers probably getting ready to head out on those boats......Sawyer obviously isn't going to warp back to 2007 to get on a boat and shoot someone. My guess is that it already happened for Sawyer, but the 316ers will still see the event happen in their current time......so the event has already taken place but it will still happen with Sawyer and the gang in 2007 even though we believe he is currently in 1970.

I'm guessing 1970's. The plane flew into the bubble and Jack, Kate and Hurley got caught in a flash (for some reason) and went back to 1977. So I imagine that Locke, Lapidus and the other survivors from the Ajira plane crash who didn't flash are on the island around 2007. (Since the Hydra station has been abandoned by the Others rather than being in full swing and full of Dharma folks in the 70's.) How they all reconnect, I don't know just yet. But did Sun flash as well, or did she take the outrigger with Lapidus in 2007 to go look for Jin on the main island?

At this point, I'm really not seeing why the Oceanic Six had to return. The time flashes stopped when Locke turned the wheel, and it looks like their return wasn't actually needed to save the lives of those left behind. I really don't know where they're going to go from here.

And what happened to Rose and Bernard? Did they end up with the Others? They have to explain where they've been for three years.

But it was nice to see a successful childbirth on the island. Now I am wondering about the identity of Amy and Horace's son. (Also, what happened to his previous female companion?) I'm sure that when they reveal his name, it will be familiar to us.

Oh, and the four toed statue cameo was fun. My wife says that it came from Tunis.

Yeah that seems highly accurate that Locke and the survivors did crash in 2007. Maybe all the O6 were needed to come in order for them to all reconnect in the modern times (2007)? It will also be interesting to see if we learn what ultimately started to cause the death of mothers whom were pregnant on the island.

I've read a lot of theories that Jacob is the child that was born, but that just confuses the hell out of me on so many levels. It is possible, but it really confuses me.

A lot of people have been speculating this. They claim it might seem stupid, 1 white stone and 1 black stone....with one white person and one black person? What is the significance? Whomever they are I think it would need more importance than Rose and Bernard. And that is another mind ^^^^ thinking about Rose and Bernard being alive in 2004 when their dead bodies are sitting there in the caves nearby.

Either that, or an eye-for-an-eye type of situation. Richard's people wanted some justice for their two fallen comrades. As we have seen, they have no problem with killing.

Yes it already happened for Sawyer. He and the others were hopping around time and at one point they were in the future. Think of it this way, say you went to the future, to tomorrow and you call me an idiot, then you come back to the present. To you, you already called me an idiot, but for me it won't happen until tomorrow.

So, the "truce" would remain intact.

"Eye for an Eye" type of thing....

it would show that the deaths of his 2 men were avenged.

I know it was about the truce, but why would he want someone's dead body. Richard's people didn't put me the mind of people who would take the body out and drag it along the road, spitting on it or some such nonesence.

Since Paul was wearing an Ankh, maybe he was one of Richard's people to begin with?

Though, Ankhs were popular in the 70s.

Anubis is the protector of the dead. He has a dog's head and has four toes. Maybe this has something to do with Vincent?

Anubis

Anyone remember what the symbols on the countdown clock were? I can remember a feather and a bird (those were the two I recognized as Egyptian). I was just doing some quick research on Anubis and discovered that both of those symbols are used to express Anubis in hieroglyphics...

And Ween I think Agent23's theory on Richard wanting Paul's body was to show the person who killed their two men was killed as well.

I was wondering why they had Charolette die 2 episodes ago before the last flash. I think it was to show what happens to "dead" people who were flashing. We know that Daniel said that Charolette's body disappeared and didn't flash with the rest of them.

We also know that Jack, Hurley, etc saw a flash on the plane and disappeared like the losties on the island did. Know Locke was on the plane with the losties, but he was obviously dead. Since dead people don't move with the flashes like alive people, Locke would not have flashed and didn't go back to the 70s correct??????

Good theory there Caedus, but we still have to wonder why Sun didn't flash if she did indeed go with Lapidus. Thanks for the pics Batty, none of the other glyphs on the clock match Anubis', I may try to look up what those symbols could possibly mean though. I'm sure others have been there, but its fun to do your own investigating with this show.

Some people think Claire might be on the raft with Lapidus? It's plausible, but I don't see her coming back like that.

When I read Claire I was thinking Claire from Heroes and got very confused. :rotfl

I don't see how Claire (Lost Claire) could be on the raft.
