I think they did, but now they are taking a break. If they take the break to catch up, then I think regardless of how long the season is they will still take a break.

I am still gonna watch LaFleur again tonight, great episode.

Sucks no show tonight.

Did anyone else think thegiant statue looked like Anibus??!!

It had the long mane like he does and the whip and crook too!!

WTF is a giant ass Egyptian statue doing there??!!

That's why I still come here even though I really don't collect anymore. Lots of like minded people without them being to crazy about stuff.

I couldn't survive on an all Lost forum. No way!!

My fiancee and I decided last week that the reason every show they put on after LOST gets cancelled is because you're just too worked up or exhausted to watch anything else. It should be followed by a half hour of blank screen or the yule log so you can just reflect on LOST before you got bed.

Haha! Yeah, I ususally just veg on my buddy Mike's couch for about an hour after Lost is on talking with my friend I bring over, Mike and his wife.

Our friend Beth comes over and we do the same thing. Every once in a while Beth will say, "hey remember Invasion? hahahahaha..."

Hahaha, my buddy Mike and I do that about the mini-series from SciFi The Lost Room.

Him and I both wanted it to be made into a series & we nerd out about it between commercials and the girls just look at each other like "Why the hell do we have hang out with/have sex with/are married to these dorks?". :D

Episode title for the season finale: The Incident.

From Lostpedia:

The Incident was an electromagnetic anomaly that apparently caused a catastrophic event that resulted in the DHARMA Initiative establishing the Swan station's protocol. The Incident was first mentioned by Dr. Marvin Candle in the Swan Orientation film. ("Orientation") The Incident occured due to a system failure of the Swan reactor in the Incident Room. ("Hotel Persephone")

Scenes from the Orientation filmDuring the Swan Orientation Film, Dr. Marvin Candle mentioned that there was "an incident" which resulted in the creation of a protocol that required a code to be entered every 108 minutes. The incident involved a leak in the containment associated with an electromagnetic anomaly. The leak caused an unspecified charge to build up within the anomaly. As the charge built up, the magnetic field associated with the anomaly grew. After 108 minutes, the magnetic field was large enough to damage the Swan station. This incident most likely occurred before 1980, the production date of the film. ("What Kate Did")

Dr. Marvin Candle issues a strict warning not to use the computer for communication with the outside world. He goes on to say that failure to comply will compromise the integrity of the project and could result in another incident. Candle also seems to indicate that the incident occurred shortly after the Swan station began operations. ("What Kate Did")

It is unknown exactly what caused the incident to occur or what kind of damage it caused. The protocol was created so that the magnetic anomaly could be discharged every 108 minutes, thus preventing an electromagnetic catastrophe. Failure to comply with this protocol leads to a system failure. There is a failsafe mechanism in place below the floor of the computer room that will destroy the Swan and permanently and safely seal the electromagnetic anomaly. ("Live Together, Die Alone")

sweet. It's exciting now that we've over the hump of the series and are beginning to get answers for things mentioned several seasons ago. :rock
I can't recall a show that has ever done this so fully and effectively.

NAMASTE!!!!!!!!!

Happy LOST day. (at least on the east coast :monkey5).

Very very very excited for tonight's show, sadly I don't think i'll be home from class in time to see it.....so LOST day will most likely be on Thursday for me. :(

It really is refreshing, almost like it was planned this way the whole time --- almost. :lol:rotfl
