I'm betting the arm is either phoney like the Candle or Waxman last names or, more likely, he lost the arm in The Incident. I'm going to guess Miles dies in the same accident as well.

I know they had talked about there only being 5 seasons of LOST, but I wasn't sure they were actually sticking to it. The final season will be released on disc on 12-08.

There will be a sixth (and final) season that airs on t.v. next year.

technically - there is only 5 seasons worth of episodes because they broke the final 3 seasons into smaller ones.

Yeah, they announced two seasons ago that there would be 3 seasons left (4,5,6) and they'd each be 16 eps each. The writer's strike screwed that up and they added an extra ep to seasons 5 + 6, making them 17, and eventually added an extra 3rd hour to the season 4 finale as well, bringing it to 13.

And uggh... no lost this week. :(

So I'm right in saying Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Juliet, Miles, Dan, Sun and all them are back in the 1970s?
Are they going to have a War with the others from the 1970s instead of Ben having them all killed off with that Gas???

Yea apparently Matthew Fox is the only person who knows the ending to Lost

Even Damon and Carlton don't have a clue. :duh

They're in 1978, hence the ESB talk last ep. Obviously a big brawl is about to break out, and we're building towards 'The Incident', but whatever happened, happened, so the Dharma peeps will be gassed in 1992.

so am i right in thinking richard is one of the dead guys that can walk around on the island, ben said something about that in the last episode, that would explain him not ageing (aging if your american ) either that or hes a timelord. i wonder who killed him :dunno maybe whitmore. or maybe you have to die on the island to be able to become the living dead :lol :google

Maybe they have to either die on the Island, or be important enough to become a walking Dead
Would Locke be considered one of the Walking Dead now???

Yeah, this week was the 2nd break of the season. I posted about it a few pages back :monkey5.

As to Richard being a walking dead, I have been thinking that...well a lot of people whom come to the island inherit certain powers or abilities even when they leave the island (could be triggered by an event or not). For example....

-Miles can hear/speak to dead people
-Hurley can see/speak to dead people
-Michael wasn't able to kill himself
-Locke can walk
-Rose is cured of her cancer
-Desmond being able to see the near future
-Claire being able to give birth
-Ben seeing his mother making him "special"
-Some suspect Walt has the ability to dream future real events
...and the list goes on....

With this said, is it not possible that Richard simply somehow after coming to the island stopped aging? It seems that all persons whom come to the island whether intentional or not have some magical thing happen to them. Either way we'll know soon enough:
Episode 15 of this season is Richard's centric episode.

although i would like to have seen a new episode i dont mind the recaps, because to me they are better than watching a strait up re-run.
