so am i right in thinking richard is one of the dead guys that can walk around on the island, ben said something about that in the last episode, that would explain him not ageing (aging if your american ) either that or hes a timelord. i wonder who killed him :dunno maybe whitmore. or maybe you have to die on the island to be able to become the living dead :lol :google

Is that the British spelling of Widmore?;)

Yeah, this week was the 2nd break of the season. I posted about it a few pages back :monkey5.

As to Richard being a walking dead, I have been thinking that...well a lot of people whom come to the island inherit certain powers or abilities even when they leave the island (could be triggered by an event or not). For example....

-Miles can hear/speak to dead people
-Hurley can see/speak to dead people
-Michael wasn't able to kill himself
-Locke can walk
-Rose is cured of her cancer
-Desmond being able to see the near future
-Claire being able to give birth
-Ben seeing his mother making him "special"
-Some suspect Walt has the ability to dream future real events
...and the list goes on....

With this said, is it not possible that Richard simply somehow after coming to the island stopped aging? It seems that all persons whom come to the island whether intentional or not have some magical thing happen to them. Either way we'll know soon enough:
Episode 15 of this season is Richard's centric episode.

Yea, I'm looking forward to the Richard Episode, hope we actually find out what he is. I'm thinking an endoskeleton, with flesh and blood on the outside. Then Arnold will come out and say that John Locke, not John Connor, has to save the future

I only caught the last few minutes but I liked that it seemed they showed most events chronologically.

I don't know, it's almost like them saying
So, for the people too stupid enough to put everything together, we'll show you what happened chronologically

We already knew EVERYTHING they showed, I thought we were actually going to get more information then we already did. Stupid me, thinking that ABC wasn't full of crap.

I dunno, I have a hard time figuring out what goes where from past seasons sometimes, especially off island. This season though has been easier to follow because it's been mostly linear but in two different times.

The flashbacks from the previous seasons did get confusing. Did they go all the way back to those last night? I might have watched it in that case since I forget alot. I hate clip shows though. And I don't like those pop up episodes they do either since alot of the information is stuff you know.

A bit off topic from the story of LOST, but still related:

A woman who claims she was sexually harassed then fired from the TV show "Lost" is suing ABC and actor Henry Ian Cusick.

The lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles alleges that Cusick, who plays Desmond Hume on the show, fondled the woman's buttocks and breasts and kissed her on the lips in October 2007. The lawsuit claims she reported the incident to her supervisor, but was simply told to avoid the actor. She states she was fired 12 days later in retaliation for reporting the alleged abuse.

The filing says the woman had worked for ABC since 1997.

The lawsuit does not specify how much she is seeking. Messages left for an ABC spokesman and Cusick's manager were not immediately returned.

DESMOND!!!!!!!! PENNY IS GONNA BE PISSED.

I hope Obama's speech tonight doesn't ^^^^ this up! If Obama does go past 9pm, I hope ABC has the common courtesy to play LOST from the beginning once the special program is over.

BAAAAA, if they play that speech over some of LOST I'm going to write my Congressman.

I was just about to say this as well. Please Mr. President don't go over your allotted time. :lol:cool:

Not the greatest episode tonight. It had a lot of scenes and felt very fast paced. It was a lot to take in and compute in a 42 minutes episode.

Is Faraday dead?
We can speculate all we want, but we all know we won't know for sure until next week's episode.

It definately is an episode I need to watch again, i'll catch it on ABC.com tomorrow.

I think he is dead. Mom groomed him all his life to make sure he was at the exact spot she kills him at.

Not related to LOST, but did anyone else catch the snipit before on of the last commercial breaks? Showed a small scene of kids going down steps and then "what did you see" or something like that. Interesting.

There were several of those. One was a bride and groom kissing, then a surfer in the curl of a wave, then a video of a sonogram. There was another that was first but I missed it. I haven't seen any during The Unusuals so I'm guessing its Lost related.
