It just takes up space, as far as I'm concerned. I wonder if Best Buy will have something different.

It looks like the disc holder (left side of the picture) will at least fit on a shelf. Then you can store the rest of the packaging in the closet.

I was just wondering if an official map of the Island was available anywhere. Thats one thing I hope will be in the blu set.

That looks like a sweet addition to the complete set. I REALLY want to watch them all back-to-back, but I remember HATING Season 2, so I'm not looking forward to that

I wasn't a big fan of season 2 either, but everyone I've talked to who watched the show on DVD, liked it.

I think it was hard for those of us who watched the show in real time because not much happened in season 2, but when you fly through it, you don't notice that and you just enjoy the character development and the few reveals you get.

The beginning of Season 3 is where the wheels fell off for a bit. :lecture

At the Times Talk interview Damon said that looking back they realized how autobiographical some of the writing was. They had the characters lingering in cages at a point where the writers were really frustrated and wanted to advance the story but the network was hesitant to let them set an end date. (Though they have also admitted that they went over their set-building budget so they had to make the cages last longer than planned. :lol )

After many theories ive come to realize there is only 1 question left that i want to know, what the smoke monster really was.

After many seasons i don`t think the creators wanted to leave us with too many unanswered questions, and if we figure out what the light really was that will give us a better idea.

With the ending many might think it didn`t give us any answers but i think it gave us some ideas of the light, according to Jacob`s mom the light was death,life,rebirth...something that was inside all of us,and if it was put out everyone would die,so i think that is the place where souls go when people die,the entry to Heaven,"waiting room" or whatever...i wouldn`t take this theory so seriously if it wasn`t for the spiritual ending.
That is what the Island was,i can`t think of everything else...The Creators can`t really end the show with absolutely no answers to what the Island was so i will stick with that theory.

Yeah, WTH? Why didn't Ben just shoot him back in the day when he snuck in his house?

Seriously though, the actor must have been pissed that his character got such a _____ death.

Ben didn't shoot him because his plan was to kill Penny and make Widmore feel the loss he felt when Alex was murdered.
After that he was willing to settle for Locke killing him, or Locke killing Penny, but when it became questionable that either of those things would happen he just capped him.

Yeah, maybe it was 3 more than 2. Either way, I think they will seem less slow during a re-watch because you can watch one after another.

I think the smoke monster ultimately was nothing. Just a paraphrase type of thing to the constant 'light and dark' aspect. Also the fact that in the end, it turns out that the Dark was literally, trying to put out the light which somehow, it was infact created by. It's the ultimate 'Versus' type of battle. Light V Dark, Good V Evil, Science V Faith, just an ultimate nod to the recurring them I reckon.
