Everything is cardboard, although the outer box and the discs box have a nice rough texture to them. I wish the outer box was resin, but that's probably asking too much. It still looks pretty classy:

I took this one to bring out the yellow tone that this has:

All of the discs (every season) is marked with an "A." Region A I guess.

Maglor, can you check the UPC code? Do you suppose different regions have different UPC codes? I'm considering ordering it from eBay...

I highly doubt it's the wrong one. Does it say anything about regions? Often they will.

OK, I have to admit that this big fancy box is awesome. I am glad that I sold the previous five seasons in anticipation of this thing, because it forced me to buy it and now that I've seen it I can say that this is certainly my favorite boxed set ever.
