My one knock against the set is that it's very season 6 centric. Meaning: The temple box, the sennet game, the Ankh. It would have been nice to have more SERIES centric trinkets. I knew there's on Easter Egg in the set that comes from Season 2, but I would have liked more from the other 5 seasons.

I am very tempted to pick up the Season 5 Dharma set though... They're still hanging around here and there and with the Complete Collection out I think a few might start popping up for cheap... I don't even want the discs, just all the Dharma stuff.

Edit: Nope! Still going for about $100. :(

I'll be watching eBay though!

nobody shares my frustration with the MYTHOLOGY (something we came to this site week after week for year after year to discuss/deliberate over) challenge thrown down in the "Across The Sea" commentary???

I didn't read your whole post. I'm waiting to watch it with the commentary myself.

Oh, I'm sure there's a lot to talk about, but it's going to take me quite a while to get to that commentary.

Believe it or not, I didn't buy any of the DVD sets, so I haven't heard any commentaries, and I must start at the beginning.

My thoughts on it, without actually hearing it for myself, are that I'm not sure if it even counts. It sounds like them joking around about something after the fact. If it's not information revealed in the show itself, does it even qualify as continuity??

Can't believe Lost didn't win a single Emmy this year. So disappointed.

Well, it did win Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series

:huh

I think Jeff Probst should give his Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program and give it to Terry O'Quinn just for kicks. What the F does Jeff Probst need an Emmy for anyways??

Could someone please measure the Complete Series Box-set and the box it ships in? I need to make space for when i get it :)

How many people have watched The New Man In Charge epilogue?

I would like to discuss it. Do I need to use spoiler tags?

I don't think it requires spoiler tags now. (assuming it was the same one that was leaked on the internet)

I loved it!

OK, the box is about 11.5" x 14" x 4" or so, and the set is a pretty good fit inside it--although the sides are angled up, but that's a pretty close match for the footprint of the boxed set itself, at 13" x 11".

I liked the epilogue. It has a nice tongue-in-cheek attitude regarding unanswered questions and does a pretty good job addressing several things that were lingering in the minds of fans.

Is that the clip where Ben goes to close down the food packaging/shipping storage?
