I just unlocked the Season 4 code and clue.....took awhile to get everything into Sam's bag and figure out the puzzle. But, I got it.

:D

Thanks Batty.

Got everything done except the activity. Where is the activity located?

Very interesting. Seems many different companies are trying this viral marketing now. I've been playing Blokus recentley so the backpack wasn't too hard.

Here's the ad for the new season. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be a 6 in the water or the number 9 being reflected.

Hmmm. I'm going to guess a 9. There are 12 people pictured, maybe only 9 get off the island?

****SPOILER ALERT*****

It's a 6.

As in the famous (at least famous in the flash forward segments) Oceanic Six.

As in the six people who make it off the island: Jack, Kate, Sayid, Hurley, Jin and Sun.

*****END SPOILERS*****

So the mystery is four then, because we know at least two.

I have a feeling Locke won't leave the island. Not because of death, but just by choice. He can walk there and clearly didn't want to leave last season. But remember, just because some people won't leave the island, doesn't mean they will die. Locke for example would survive on the island just fine on his own.

So was the person in the casket one of the '6'? Hmmm...

Who knows? But I still want to say Michael.

And with no end in sight for the strike, this season is shaping up to be only 8 eps long.

Did anyone watch the enhanced season 3 finale tonight? I turned it after the first 15 minutes. The text was annoying and didn't tell anything relevant. They were just random statements. I guess since they couldn't use writers, they got someone off the street to make them up.

Yea, I watched it; not for the text coming up, but just to remind myself of what happened. I have class tonight, so I'm looking forward to watching after class. I really didn't learn anything new, I pretty much knew everything that they popped up, but I've been watching since the first episode, so I didn't miss much in the first place. It's a good way to get people back into the show and to catch someone up on the current events.

I just rethought of something that I didn't like about the flash-forwards that I forgot. Since they are going to show the future after they get off the island, they are somewhat limiting themselves in the stories that they can tell in the present. PLUS, I don't like future plots because it kinds of gives away that is happening in the present and the near future.

But who said the future is set in stone? Jack wants to go back to the island and told Kate they should never have left... maybe they won't leave... I wouldn't rule out time travel as one of the the island's mysteries.

GAAAAAAAAAA, but why would they think about not leaving, if we know in the future they DID leave. That of course, unless their future selves can get a message back to their past selves and convince them not to leave....do you see where I'm going with this. My brain hurts....

They do leave at some point. However, the flash forward has been confirmed by the producers to NOT be the end of the show. We will be seeing more of future Jack in future flashbacks, whose storyline will be continued and who, I presume, will be attempting to return to the island. I believe that future Jack will eventually return, and that's where his character will end up by the series finale.

I would like to see Jack convince Kate to return with him, but through some crazy time travel twist (we have yet to see how much time travel they are going to be putting in the show), they arrive too far back in the island's history and live out the rest of their lives together on the island, decades before the crash. So the two bodies in the cave back in season one will be Jack and Kate.

VERY Interesing!!

as far out as lost is and events that happen on the island i thought that the writers have said that there would be no time travel, no "it was all a dream sequence, or any kind of diety or alien influence. something along the lines of explainable with plausibility but unlikely. i still want to hear the explanation on that damn smoke monster. but i really do like your theory.........and not to get in a huge debate but if jack and kate are in the cave wouldnt that create a paradox?

I like this theory, but I still think that the cave skeletons are Amelia Earhart and Frank Noonan. If there is time travel I could see us returning to the moment last season where Locke has the gun on Jack and chooses to shoot this time, though that would mean that the rescue and flash forwards never happen which would really piss off most fans.

Nice episode. Good set up for the new season, all 8 episodes of it. A couple fun surprises. The flash forwards give this show a whole new dimension. Can't wait to see where we're headed.

Man, Lost proves again why it is the greatest tv show ever.

And ABC showing 50 billion commercials for that stupid Eli Stone show makes me not want to watch that pos.
