I don't think they'll do a Hobbit 2 pack as they will more than likely each cost just as much as a taller figure ($50-65). I'm not interested in Sideshow spreading out the Fellowship releases. They're the most important and should come out asap.

I'm a huge LOTR fan and have a complete Toybiz collection, but I'm not too interested in anything as extensive in this 12" series, especially at this pace. I'd probably get them if made, but I'd rather SS turned their attention and resources to the heavy hitters in the "must have" list long before they even think about background players like Denethor, Haldir, Galadriel, Eomer, etc.

200+ days between announcements is ridiculous! Will we have a complete Fellowship by the end of 2008?? not at this rate.

Fortunately I'm not stressed out about the 12" line since I decided I wasn't going to be a die hard collector. Now don't get me wrong, I still have to order all the exclusives because I'm hopeless but they're not on display, I have them boxed up sitting in my closet.

Out of the nine fellows, only Gandalf can be done with the current body types. I think Gandalf will make an appearance at SDCC, along with perhaps a wraith.

The more I think about it the more I would love to have Gandalf and his horse and carriage with all the fireworks piled in back. That would make such a cool display piece along with Sam Frodo and Bill.

Speaking of which, when SS does release Merry and Pippen, which version to you guys want first? Hobbit dress or Rohan/Gondo armour?

Fellowship attire w/ elven cloaks & swords. Regular Bree/Weathertop swords & scabbards would be a nice exclusive. I don't want Rohan/Gondor armour Merry/Pippin (and any variant other than GtW such as Elessar) until a bunch of others are done.

As for the hobbits, PLEASE let's see them in Hobbit attire first as they were from Rivendell to Moria, with elven cloaks as semi-exclusives and individual exclusives besides. Also, an idea I had was to release them just like the Endor Troopers--make it a bundle deal, so we get them together and a bit cheaper if you buy them all at once. It's not a two-pack, but it's still a good way of getting them out seperate or together, buyer's choice.

Since September? No kidding, man, I gotta see something soon or I'm gonna bust, this is getting ridiculous!

I expect something at SDCC as well. Again this is the type of event where they bring it so I expect a 1:6th or two and GTW PF.

The one display I want more than anything is the Fellowship passing over the mountain, all in the costumes from that scene. I'm in the middle of making Boromir's cloak; I just hope the others have their pre-Lorien garb along with their elven cloaks.

More than anything I want another announcement. Faramir's almost here; Heaven forbid we should have to pass any time with nothing even in the works. They gave us word on Gandalf the White, now can we get something for the 1:6 line???

Yeah, I want Fellowship as well though I won't be posing them doing that scene. I would like a Dio of it though. I need to get me an Elven Cloak for Aragorn at somepoint.

I hope when they do the Hobbits they stay faithful to the books and make two versions of Merry and Pippin.
I'd like to see all the hobbits in Fellowship garb and later taller versions of Merry and Pippin after they have drank the Entwash in their respective Gondor and Rohan outfits.
