LOTR without Gollum is about as likely as SW without suited Vader. It'll happen and when it does Sideshow will make sure they do it right.

Captain Aldeggon said:Here would be my ideal line up, starting with GtG of course (it's long, just to warn you, and I've tried to minimize repeat characters for now):
Gandalf the Gray
Saruman
Environment: The Palantir at Orthanc
Introduction of new smaller size body
Frodo
Gimli
Sam (save the other Hobbits to spead out the Fellowship releases a bit more)
Environment: Bill the Pony
Using a new female body
Arwen (any costume, though I love her silver travelling gown)
Galadriel
Environment: the Mirror of Galadriel with silver ewer
First amored characters
Eomer
Theoden
And from here you add variety
Merry and Pippen two-pack
Eowyn (Rohirrim Armor)
Prologue Elrond
Prologue Gil-Galad (just because he has the most glorious armor made for any movie EVER!)
Environment: The Shards of Narsil laid upon Elven Statue
Gollum
Gandalf the White
Denethor
Prologue Elven Warrior(s)
Haldir
Elven warriors from Helm's Deep
The Mouth of Sauron
Grima Wormtongue
Prologue Elendil
Prologue Isildur
And so from here you can revisit characters, add horses, generic soldiers, orc bodies, whatever. There's way more to do than this little list. I just think this would be a nice, varied line up that moves in subtle themes and mixes the films without feeling random or chaotic. Boy did I just spend half an hour on this thing? Yup, yes I did.
Oh, did I mention Sauron and a troll or two?
Anzik Hayes said:Quite an extensive list you have there and very impressive. However, I wonder how many collectors are willing to pay $65+ shipping for the background characters. Generic Elves, Elendil, Isildur, Gil Galad, Denethor are very important to the story, but I have doubts as to how many would sell.
I really hope that they iron out their differences and Jackson does the Hobbit. I would love to see the dwarves get the SSC treatment.
