HT's Bespin Luke actually looked *more* like Hamill without the hairpiece. This one... not so much.

True. Though even without hair the BD sculpt is better than the non-BD.

1) I have a production X-Wing Luke in my office right now. It's excellent. I have it on a desk with a Sideshow Artoo and a Hot Toys Kenobi, and they look fantastic together. I've canceled my Hot Toys Luke and ordered an X-Wing Luke instead.

Honestly I think Sideshow dug their own grave on this figure by pricing it the way they did and showing off a far superior prototype sculpt and delivering a less than satisfactory product (again). I can't say I feel sorry for them and I think they opened up the doors to criticism.

They got one of the best painter in the industry working for them, so it's not like they don't have any idea of how to paint HT quality sculpts. And also the bunch of sculptors they have, especially Trevor, is better than what HT have right now. So I'm not sure why they can't produce similar quality like HT atm. I'm guessing it must be the language barrier with the guys at the production site.
