What a cool base. Really makes the figure stand up.

Pun intended? :lol

Base is good, makes a change from all the plain black ones.

Still happy to be forking out for this one. Helmet will be on since I'll have plenty of bareheaded Lukes.

Helmet on, gloves in hand. Preparing to meet his destiny...

No no. Luke puts the gloves on, then puts the helmet on. That helmet is filthy, Luke can't be putting it on barehanded, it's the whole reason he has the gloves.

I wonder how the skin detail is on the hands. Looked pretty sharp in the proto pics.

And can somebody please futz that right pant leg correctly?

It really is. I can't get over the subtle use of light and shadow for the depiction of the Yavin floor tiles. That had to have taken hours in illustrator, I'd like a print of it for the other characters. The off white base really helps sell the figure and makes the orange flight suit pop against the traditional black base. The lack of name card on the tile was a wise choice as I can't see anyone mistaking who this character is supposed to be or what movie he is from. Just the simplicity of it. Very well done, I can't imagine a figure without one of these.

I hope toyanxiety has enough up for sale so I can buy some multiples.

Although I hated on this figure earlier... it does not look to bad in Dave's pics. I am not buying it for $240 though.

Judging by the price I think Tracy Emin was commissioned to draw the lines on them. (She can just about manage straight lines).

Flight suit is looking pretty good in that shot. Skin tone from the head to the neck looks pretty different there, could just be the lighting.

Looks alright - definitely Hamill's mouth there, nice helmet, outfit & details.

Don't like the oven mitt style glove gauntlets though.

Yes, he's looking good.

Those gloves are reminiscent of Sideshow's ESB Vader. But the EX bare hands and bunched gloves will fix that!
