What a great shot. Post more please...

Giving SS minimal props again since I gave them hell on the sculpt / paint. Don't get me wrong, their still problematic along with the price but with the helmet on it's really a nice figure overall. Even like the glove design.....Thanks to HT, I have option to pose without helmet (storm Trooper head sculpt) making this a win all around.

Got mine today, very surprised if im honest i wasn't expecting much from what i'd read and saw early on. I managed to get him for a little under £130 so not bad, he definitely adds some colour to the collection. Also the body feels a lot better than their older ones too(he can actually stand), cut and stitch is great too. Sculpt looks fine to me with the helmet on, i haven't gotten round to taking it off yet which is how i intend to have him posed(that could change). Overall please with the purchase

Just a quick shot will do more over the weekend.

Wonderful picture. Great pose. I have mine posed like this as well.

I love this figure. It screams Star Wars to me. :)

Where did you pick this up for 130 with points?
Id have it at £130 no problem that seems fair no way im paying £205 after shipping and taxes

In some pictures this figure looks fantastic, in others it looks like a Hasbro toy :(

I still haven't picked this up, I'll wait a few years for the ESB one.

If there is one certainty that everyone that has this in hand will tell you it does not look like a toy. With the helmet on or with a HT Luke head the tailoring on this figure is right there with HT and it will stand up right beside the best HT offerings. Obviously the head sculpt draws negative remarks for paint for realism where HT does capture it so well.

It is a very nice figure on the shelf but the price and the sculpt will be a detractor for many people.

Having the figure in hand, I can tell you that even without the helmet on, it definitely does not look like a "Hasbro Toy".

The only negatives with the figure is the high price and the lack of accessories. That may be enough for some to pass on the figure but it looks great on display, even alongside other Hot Toys figures.

I was fortunate enough to get a great deal through a sale and am sure glad that I've got this one on display.

But I too am waiting on a "Snow-speeder Luke" as well.

I had all three of Kenner's X-Wing Pilots and know that Sideshow's is a hyperspace jump or two ahead of those.

I like the figure with the helmet on and the colours look nice
gonna grab this on ebay next year in uk when price point is better

So there was a video review of the HT farmboy in another thread and it was interesting to see how HT handled a very similarly constructed helmet to the pilot helmet with the training helmet.

Hot Toys is only a few steps away from Luke's X-wing helmet with the molds that made this (unless adding a visor and other details would require more than just a retool). I have no idea if a HT version of Pilot Luke is in the cards for the future or not, but it is interesting to see how both companies handled a very similar accessory in the helmet.
