I can't wait to see the hand stump in person! I'm almost afraid to check my email now with Qui-Gon and 4 other figures on order that are supposed to ship in the next month or two. Good think I've got some cash saved up!

I doubt this will be a common event. I know Obi-Wan was delayed, as were some others just not as long, so this should be rare.

Personally, this is pretty cool. However, SS would be wise to spread these out more, just to let most of the fanboys breathe.....

Wow.... we've got a lot to be happy about guys... even if it's gonna hurt the bank. I don't know how I am gonna do it, but I will find a way.

Right now I travel about 40 miles back and forth from work, and I have to live check to check like a good many of you. I haven't been able to save like I've wanted, so I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and find a way to pay for it all. Sept is gonna be even worse, I can't begin to imagine.

And I didn't look closely enough at Mace during my time at SDCC. He was just too close to the Boba Fett PF and I kept getting distracted...

I'm just happy that I will finally have enough SW 12" figures to set up a display in my office. I haven't wanted to devote an entire shelf to 2 or 3 figures, but now that I will have six, it's time to unpack those boxes.

Mace looks cool too, but I'm in agreement with the comments about that tunic change....the proto one was much nicer (and looked more movie accurate too...check out the great over-the shoulder shots from AOTC when he's conferring with Yoda...the texture really jumps out). The new one in the SDCC pics looks drab in comparison. We'll know which one we got soon enough...

This Mace is the AOTC Mace as he appeared in the battle with Fett per SSC so I hope you're right and his tunic is film accurate and represented as such in the prod run...

I should mention this was the SSC Exclusive description and our Mace also comes with the severed hand he suffered shortly before his demise in ROTS.

Got my notice for "Mace" Exclusive today as well...

HOLY CRAP!!!

I am very happy that he is coming so soon but man... I really did not expect so many at once... This is going to hurt, I may have to do some shifting around...

I am one of the people who ended up cancelling his/my "Sith Anakin" (I even started a thread about it) because he was too similar to "Jedi Anakin" and because I lacked the money...

Well a few weeks ago I came in to a little unexpected money, and after I saw the pictures of "Sith Anakin" from the SDCC... I changed my mind (like I'm the only collector to change his mind or go back and forth)! The pictures looked much better than the ones on the Sideshow website... So I decided to try and get him back. I knew that I would be too far down the line for the waiting list so I looked for him on Ebay. After a few failed attemps, I finally got him back this week for $87.60 U.S. which includes shipping charges. In CAN $ that comes to about $100.60 which is pretty good, that is what I usually pay with "customs/duties" for each figure when they are shipped directly from Sideshow. Considering that most "Sith Anakin's" are going for over $100.00 U.S. on Ebay (not even counting the shipping charges), I think I was very lucky!

So to sum it all up... I have "Sith Anakin" that has been charged and "Han" that will be charged soon. Plus then there is "Obi" that is coming at the end of the month and now "Mace" too! And let's not forget next month (my card will have no time to recooperate), when "Qui Gon" and "Aragorn" come out...

So to sum it all up... I have "Sith Anakin" that has been charged and "Han" that will be charged soon. Plus then there is "Obi" that is coming at the end of the month and now "Mace" too! And let's not forget next month (my card will have no time to recooperate), when "Qui Gon" and "Aragorn" come out...

I hear you Seb (and co.), especially with those shipping/duty charges to Canada. I've emailed Sideshow to see if they can ship some or all of my Han, Obi and Mace together...save on shipping (hopefully) and if I'm really lucky, it'll be the one that finally slips through the cracks at Canada customs and arrives "duty-free"! I can dream right...

Thing is, on top of these 3 figures coming over the next 15 to 30 days, I also have to pay for my HT Robocop...not to mention Aragorn and Qui-Gon are just around the corner...plus ED-209 (presumably)...and I have the RAH Jack Sparrow and Wolverine on pre-order also...By the time I get all these figures FINALLY paid off, I'll be hit with the notices for Darth Maul and Legolas, then PF Boba Fett, then the Jabba's Palace set, Bib Fortuna and Leia Boushh...then Boromir...then...then...It's never going to end!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Still, can't wait 'til I get the notice for 12" and PF Indiana Jones...ah, then I'm really dreaming!

Yeah, I also had "T-800" and "T-1000" Exclusives on pre-order but I had to cancel both. There's no way I would have made it with both those figures added to the list!

At this point I think I can keep all my orders w/o any cancellations... but its gonna be tight. I do hope that SS can get this worked out to a more regular 1/month schedule with figures... this is especially rough with the added SDCC exclusives.

Heh, I can keep all of my orders plus I might get a regular Obi-Wan. But then again, I had to cancel my Han a long time ago to get a MR saber. But now I've got like $700 to spend between now and december (which is including taking out the cost of preordered figures)so I think I'll be OK on everything, unless of course there is a PotC PF made then I would have to get it so I would then have like $100 left over or something.

I have a running slush fund of £120.00 per month on 'stuff' some months nothing and some months lots. This is a hard months so I'm gonna be playing catch up for the next couple of months.

I just hope that the GG animated Maquettes don't start shipping soon...

I seriously am going to have trouble with paying for this many figures at once.

I don't make $40,000 a year and Qui-Gon says it's shipping in Sept. also so that makes 4 figures (Han,Obi,Mace & Qui-Gon) in the course of not even 2 months.

It would be nice if they staggered them all a little bit. One a month is a little more reasonable for those of us who aren't rolling in the dough like some of you!


I already had to cancel my Exclusive Kit Fisto due to lack of funds and I don't want to lose any more of them.

Ahhh...that's what I love about collecting, someone is always b****ing!

I love that self-centered thought that it's all about me me me and what I want.
