I interpreted the title as direct in that Furiosa starts the drive on Fury Road to get supplies but symbolically as Fury-osas Road to redemption

I meant the "Mad Max" part, not Fury Road. From the beginning we've been to assume that Max was "mad" as in angry and seeking revenge. Whereas in this movie he starts out mad as in having gone somewhat insane.

It was pretty clear to me, Fury road ---> Furiosa's road, also, furies are Roman/Greek spirits of justice and vengeance, I wonder if that has anything to do with her name.

I think the connotation from angry to crazy of "mad" changed gradually since the original movies, in FR, not only he's Mad, but also everybody else.

I noticed a few other guys hanging out with Immortan Joe who had shaved heads and black makeup over their eyes and forehead. Other "Imperators" or just a common fashion statement of the Citadel?

I hope I'm half as cool looking as this dude when I grow old.

I wanna see Turner in the Thunderdome choking someone with those sweet legs she still has. Acid Queen indeed.

If "Thunderdome Plus" is in the comics maybe it'll make an appearance in MM: The Wasteland.

That ASM2 scenario was just weird. I have no idea why Sony was so disgusted with their own movie. Thor 2 made $644 million and TWS made $714 million and Marvel is still going full steam ahead with Thor 3 and Civil War.

And Superman Returns grossed more than Batman Begins (of course, TDK put them both in the shade...)

Nux is dying. He's hoping the free blood transfusion will keep him running long enough to do something glorious on the battle field.

He literally says this to The Slit when he commandeers his steering wheel back.

Didn't Slit even say "you can't drive because you can't even walk?" I didn't quite get that because Nux seemed to be walking just fine (unless I just heard incorrectly of course.)

He said that just because he was barely able to stand on his feet when he was introduced, but clearly adrenaline kicked in quickly after Nux was told about the chase.

Gosh I love this freaking movie. Just all the little details of the War Boys and their blood conditions, but still being actual characters (I even liked the guy who kept asking Furiosa if they should turn around.) And then working in their health with the whole "blood bank" thing which served the dual purpose of organically introducing Max into the chase while also matching a familiar visual cue of the series (hostages tied to the front of Humungus' rig.)

It just goes to show how GM is a great storyteller, with minimal dialogue, he presents a rich world with rich characters and everything clicks into place, the viewer only has to connect the dots and fill the holes with imagination.

What comes out next weekend is key -- thankfully only San Andreas -- so Max has a chance to actually earn more next weekend and end up at #2.

Tomorrowland will drop out of the top 5 and PP2 should have exhausted itself by then.

I know I'm dreaming for Max to come in at #2, but hope is eternal. Just hope it stays #3 or better and stays in the Top 5.
