Thats cool. Braun is the real deal (even if him beating Tulo for ROY in 07 was a crock). Fielder is probably not going to be around long so that was a necessary signing to keep Braun.

maybe it's for the best...the rangers were in the same spot a couple years ago

I agree with ink. It will be better off in the end. You would hope that MLB is not going to let a franchise with that kind of history just fold up and leave town.

I'm am so very happy that Frank McCourt didn't get ownership of the Red Sox back in '01.

Definitely a rough patch for the Dodger organization though. In the end the Dodgers are a storied franchise in a huge market. When MLB puts them up for sale, they should attract a good owner that will make them competitive for years to come.

I hear you guys, and I have to agree with all of you. Let's get this ball club into better hands.

I'm surprised the players can still focus and win games.

Matt Kemp gets his second walk-off homer in a matter of one week.

Yeah, Ryan Braun's got a great contract.
I can't believe this guy played high school ball in Granada Hills. That's about 30 minutes away from me. :D

Same high school John Elway went to. :lol

Can Carlos Pena hit anymore? Geez, I need him to do something...

I get nothing out of 1b in fantasy.

Rockies have been sucking ass of late. I think they are only 2-5 since their winning streak and 3 of those loses they have been no hit for at least 6 innings.

Cards have been playing extremely well. Boggs is doing FAR better than Franksuck.

Boggs has been extremely solid since that SD appearance! Putting him in the closer role was the best decision for this team.

Not sure how Franklin fits in now with Sanchez and Motte, though. TLR will undoubtedly fit him in somewhere.

And how about McClellan going 4-4 in quality starts!!!
I never expected that kind of start from him.

Nice to see the Cards and Westbrook have a good outing at home.

Boggs with another save and Sanchez another stellar setup!

I know that it's VERY early in the season, but dang, my Marlins are looking freakin' amazing.

And my initial fear of the bullpen blowing games has not come to fruition (yet...)

Looks like Hanley has broken out of his ugly slump, too.

Cards bullpen makes me sick to my stomach.

Again.

For heartburn relief, it's best to turn off the tv after the starter leaves. :lol

Did you see this snippet on swing and miss?!?!
"Eduardo Sanchez has a swing-and-miss rate of 40.8 percent. For perspective, consider this: Cincinnati's bazooka lefty, Aroldis Chapman, has a swing-miss rate of 27 percent this season. Think about that for a moment. Sanchez is averaging 15.43 Ks per nine innings." :thud:

So... Roy Oswalt... what the hell?

Why pass up an opportunity to use that bulldozer! :lol

In all seriousness, hopefully his family is ok.
