Isn't Boston on the hook for some bad contracts that Theo left with them?

Yeah, the Sox still have John Lackey and Carl Crawford signed for quite a while. Local radio is in fervor because Epstein was interviewed in the last few days and said he regretted both deals and is throwing blame at others in the front office.

LOL

no reason to delete it...it happened and at some point i will get over it

i totally respect the cards and what they were able to accomplish, but i had my keys in my hand ready to run out the door and buy championship gear but instead had my heart ripped out and my balls stomped on, lol

:lol

You're in good company...many have tried with that guy and all have failed. :monkey2

Were you able to catch it on tv, flosi?

I'm sorry mike. As soon as I posted it I knew I probably should have deleted it. :(

You know, I watched a few innings and the Giants were really spanking them at the time and Cain was going through their lineup so quickly I didn't even notice he had a perfecto going. My wife came home from the gym and I put on a Big Bang re-run for her. Anyway, I switched back over just to see the final score and saw the team jumping around on the field... So in short, not really. :( I was there for Cain's 1 hit no walk effort on opening day though... Still, not the same.:lol

I could only imagine. :(

:lol At least you got to watch part of it, though, along with the celebration.

One-hitter, no-no, perfecto...I would love to see something like that in person.
Closest thing I've seen was the 2006 WS with Carp throwing a 3-hitter in 8.

Welcome to my Minnesota Vikings world. :wave

The Rangers have an excellent shot this year as well. :peace

:lecture

If Hamilton stays healthy, they should be a force to reckon with once again.

That batting lineup is sooooo good. :thud:

There are no weak spots in that line-up.
Ok, maybe Murphy.

Heck, I don't think that ball Cruz hit in Game 6 ever came down. :lol

now if we can just keep our pitchers off the DL

I know he hasn't shown it yet, but Oswalt should be big for you guys when he's called up. The guy is a true gamer.

It's just been spotted over Minneapolis. :wave

Roger Clemens found not guilty. Congrats to him for getting away with lying.

Thankfully his only means of entering Cooperstown will continue to be by paying admission.

I am so hoping The Indians kick some Reds' ass today. I can't stand that Rusty Baker (no offense to Reds' fans).
