They did it with Iron man and the rest of the marvel flix all pointing to Avengers...Why not with Superman film leading the way to JLA?...

Did they already make an Iron Man movie that was let's just call it "not well received"?

It needs to be done right first. Superman is special and hard to do right. If it does get done right the sequels can take care of that. (it's not top priority, getting a good supes movie under the belt is)

It needs to be done right first. Superman is special and hard to do right. If it does get done right the sequels can take care of that. (it's not top priority, getting a good supes movie under the belt is)

Yeah I agree - Iron Man 2 was a mess in large part due to the setting up of the Avengers going on with Fury and BW.

MoS should be focused on Superman, maybe have a little nod or small cameo from someone (WW has been rumoured) but nothing beyond that.

WTF does IM2 have to do with the first IM being epic and having a link to the "bigger picture" in it?

If DC is going to establish a JLA, they need to include a "hint" in this film. It can be as complex as a final scene like Fury confronting Stark with the proposal for the Avengers Initiative, or it can be as subtle as having Clark set his glasses on his coffee table, next to a copy of the Gotham Globe showing a pic of Batman on the front cover, at the end of the film.

All you need is the cameo or hint...thats it...60 seconds of footage is all you need to cover that for most of the JLA members

Did they know that the first Iron Man was going to be a hit/success?...no .. but they put Fury at the end talking Avengers anyway...You gotta take a chance...If DC/Warner Bros blows this film well it's on them and it means that they suck...

The only thing I care about in the film is the hope that they introduce a supervillain(Darkseid for ex) and that Justice league hints get thrown out left and right...why not for example have a cameo of Green Lantern when baby Superman flys thru space maybe eveb flying past the planet OA or even introduce cameo of Batman or wayne with a television broadcast showing in regards to gotham city's crime etc...even show Green arrow in a news broadcast of Oliver Queen thought dead after years as a castaway on island is finally rescued..these are just examples...can you imagine if these were shown in this film introducing all the JLA members and done right(only taking up a minute or two of screen time) what the implications would be ...JLA!...JMHO on what this film should hopefully have...It would just kill!

Again all I want is the above to happen and I will be content...If this fails then Warner Bros should hijack all the Avenger Writers/Directors ..holdem at gun point under a spotlight and ask how did you do it!!...If WB fails at JLA after seeing the Marvel films succeed then they are idiots and deserve to be fired!

DC needs to pick up the ball with JLA soon! At the rate Marvel is going, the heroes from the Avengers may eventually exceed in popularity over DC's big guys, Supes & the Bat! If it wasn't for Nolan's DK trilogy, DC would have nothing going for them now. (But its ending!)

If they are ever going to do JLA, they need to start hinting at them now and the next Man of Steel is a great way to start the promotion.
