Finally got too see MoS again in an IMAX and I liked it even more upon second viewing. First time I gave it a 9 out of 10 but I am bumping it up to 9.5. I love this movie. Thank you Zack Snyder I waited 30 years for this!

Il debate a movie with anyone for hours. Honestly I find it fun if the debate is in good faith. But the second you start turning to personal attacks and insults (like you have) it just ruins it. Especially when your justification of there being a line between legitimate criticisms and "entitled whining" (two annoying words which are thrown around this forum like candy); seems to be wherever you decide to arbitrarily draw it.

I suggested you were being a girl about the action and you called me a ****. STFU hypocrite. You can't take a little nudging about your holier than thou opinion, you sure shouldn't start calling people a **** then whine about name calling for three posts following.

As far as arbitrarily drawing the line, you're the one who started rattling off about the destruction in MoS like it was a 6 o'clock news story after I already said you have damage in any Superhero series just on various scales. But your version is just to one up with your hyperbole. In the end its all the same, obviously someone like Superman and Zod have the potential to do more damage than say Superman vs his villains. Hi Pot, stop worrying about the kettles color.

There was absolutely no reason why the climax had to be a cold 30 minute long CGI mess. And there was certainly no reason why the damage had to be portrayed as so ridiculously massive besides the fact that Zach Snyder thought it was cool.

..... for real, do you even read comics? A lot of the stuff that goes on in them would give you an aneurysm, if this is how you feel about MoS. I read a TPB recently that had all of NYC under water as a result of some cataclysm. Then, Dormammu showed up and straight-up murdered Dr Strange on the spot! People and heroes were dying all over the place. Made the film in question here look like nothing.

The reason no one criticised the Avengers is because the damage in that movie was limited to a few blocks and seemed almost inconsequential compared to the 100X 9/11 that went down here.

The damage in Mos was limited to a few blocks in Metropolis. Sheesh.

The climax could have played out just the same with more limited destruction. And actually your description of "CGI torture porn" is a pretty good way to describe it.

Exactly, I was thinking of the Ben Grimm/ Gladiator fight, which technically are both good guys. Gladiator wasn't just knocking Ben through skyscrapers, he literally picked one up and smashed Ben with it.

And when the Hulk was put into that dimsension by Dr. Strange when he got all roid raged, that fight went through several comics and multiple heros and teams tried taking him down, wasn't there multiple cities flattened?

Probably tons more that others can think of as well.
