Interview with David Goyer

Gotta say, I agree with Goyer 100% on this.

Except for the fact that the killing of Zod was lifted from the comic, Goyer acts like he has done some cinematic writing that transcended comics. It may be out of context and he may be referring to specific writers vocal about Superman killing, but the quote makes him sound like a piece of slime considering he just recreated the same scenario Byrne used (Zod threatening to kill anyone he could)

I have to agree. He did sound like he was up to something bigger than we could comprehend which hasn't been the case. I mean who really knows how much of his script was "fixed" and how much was used. Even though I liked MOS, there was a lot of awful writing in it. And I'll be damned if his Batman vs Superman movie is anything more than they fight and Batman takes Superman under his wing and they win. C'mon let's be real, they are "fast tracking" this. It's a cash grab.

Anyone who disses Brando, for any reason, is a phony film fan; you can't even give me a reason to hate fat "Island of Dr. Moreau" Brando.:lol

Hey, Tomatoes are very good for you, I'll have you know! Don't want to be wasteful :)

PS, 'Nam...loving your Avatar and sig. Good old Bub! From when GR was still interested in making good films, it seems.

:lol:lol:lol:lol:rotfl

Thanks and yup. I said in the TWD thread, it's a ****ing goddam shame when copies of the master's work surpass his own attempts. :monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

Not to start anything again, but this is kind of funny, they don't always hit the nail but they definitely did with this one for the most part, the rest are petty nitpicks.
