This is what some people said to me when I said that Batman and Superman would become friends upon Batman learning that their mother's shared the same name or that Leto was barely in Suicide Squad. :lol

But yeah,

Stark ****s up Keaton's company/business by trying to be the attention, glory seeking, narcisstic **** he is (as if Stark doesn't have enough better things to do and didn't learn his lesson after Age of Ultron and Civil War). A ton of blue collar workers get laid off and Keaton is pissed.

I like that from a story standpoint. It really makes Toomes stand out. They weren't jerking around when they said they were gonna reinvent him him. Couple that with Keaton's charisma, and we might just get another good MCU villain.

So a couple people loses their jobs and the first chance the guy gets he builds a massive weapon of destruction and goes around threatening people. Clearly he can't be trusted with the goods, materials and equipment he comes across when salvaging the battle zones. Stark is the clear choice for handling all those things. As Cap said "They safest hands are still our own".

Good on Tony for taking over. Iron Man saves the day once again.

Its 3:00 PM and I'm drinking coffee too! :hi5:

I honestly don't care if Peter is shown sucking on Tony's nip. :lol

We've seen the independent Spidey in previous film, so having something different is fine with me.

What's the point of the MCU deal if you don't have certain characters show up?

Also, Tony's technology is pretty cool and it puts the cinematic Batman to shame.

His Spidey suit is pretty brilliant because it explains how the suit can fit Peter perfectly.

I'm not a fan of the spider chest drone or the black lines on the costume, but I don't hate the suit either.

That's true, it weird seeing everyone complain about Iron Man being in the movie when the whole selling point of these movies is a shared universe where these characters can interact.

But I'm not a fan of the MCU so I'm not a fan of that, but based on everything Difabio has posted, it seems Sony/Marvel has done a great job integrating Spider-Man into the MCU without it feeling unnatural like it did with Civil War. Spidey's motivations, villains , hell pretty much everything being tied to Iron Man now makes sense so if you're a fan of the MCU I can't really see how you can not like the direction this is going in.

I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes :lol

Should've hired this guy to be Vulture

I can give two ***** if it makes more money than The Force Awakens.

If its good, I'll praise it. If it sucks a **** I'll detest it like most of the MCU.

*The people on this thread championing Spidey as Tony's ***** must have HATED The Raimi films where he made his own bones.

But that's the nature of today's fandom. Ultron is turned into a jokester imbecile, Mandarin into a moronic stage actor and now Spider-Man into a poor man's Iron Man ---> and the fandom loves it & eats it all up because of that Marvel Studios banner.

Atleast it's Hawkeye and not Tony Stark. Unlike Iron Man, Hawkeye actually gets better and more interesting with each new movie he's in.
