Saw this movie last night, ****ing loved it! I was surprised at how into I got, like the scene when he ditches his school team to go track Vulture and then he gets stuck, I was so invested in all the characters the first thing that popped into my mind when he got into trouble was "holy **** he's going to miss his competition!" lol but knowing how much it mattered to him to try and impress the senior girl and his peers but also how important his duty as spider-man is was truly well balanced. I actually cared every time he made a spider-man decision that would hurt his regular life, it was such a great thing to see, this truly felt like a great character journey about a kid that knows the kind of man he want's to become while still being a kid.

I saw this last week and loved it. Vulture is up there in the great villain. That car scene was a genuine treat. My theater was filled with annoying young people who were being kind of dicky throughout the movie...but as soon as "the front door opened" the mood of my theater completely shifted and everyone paid attention...even them whippersnappers

Another detail me and my friend applauded jokingly was the glorious lack of a severe crying scene from Parker. Correct me if im wrong but there was no ugly-faced crying scene in this movie from him. Sure he got misty eyed but DATS IT! It bumped my overall rating up a few points

Nice to see a couple more rave reviews roll in! I like this movie more every time I see it. Each time I appreciate the direction they took and the changes they made to make this a different Peter/Spidey than what we've seen with the predecessors.

I can confirm that Shocker takes a swing at him from behind on the ferry, and he ducks without looking or Karen alerting him. Definitely looked like Spidey sense to me.

Also another thing that I just caught this time that debunks my complaint about the plane scene

I originally missed the part where Toones has "30 seconds to disable security". He does it, and it cuts back to Happy confirming with that dude on the laptop that all is good. So my one major nit is out the window

I liked it. Much better than Amazing Spider-Man and ASM2. Not as good as the Raimi Spider-Man films. Holland and Keaton were very good. The MJ thing was dumb and the action scenes kinda sucked, but it had more heart than I expected.

I always love the graphics and animation for the end credits. Wasn't expecting the Ramones or hand drawn animation.

That's one thing I really loved about this movie. It's about modern school kids yet feels... oldschool.
When Peter opens the door to homecoming party I was like "YOOO THIS IS THE BEST!"



One of my all time favs.

Keaton was great in it though, hope he comes back for more and now that Aunt May knows that should open up a totally different area that they have never had a chance to explore.
