True, but we only see a couple of minutes of the car ride. Who knows what they discussed before. Plus, Tony usually seems to hide his concern and depression by deflecting things with comedy.

I just thought of something about this movie that brings Civil War down a notch. The beginning takes place during or just after Civil War where Rhodes got shot and fell from the sky. While in the car with Stark Peter never asks how Rhodes was doing nor does Stark seemed concerned at all that his friend was just badly hurt, the Avengers were split, that his team mates were in prison or that Cap was a fugitive.

First rule of leadership is to never gripe/whine down, only up.

Why would an adult billionaire superhero seek sympathy or cry to a teenager.

Yeah! Plus he was thinking about how hot Aunt May was, so that certainly lifted his spirits.

Yeah, I hated that too. I can understand why Stark wouldn't show his feelings but Peter actin' as if nothing serious happend is just terrible. Then again, the character in this film is pretty damn different from the one in CACW.

Maybe Spidey didn't know about Rhodes.

The car ride home could be days after CW. Maybe Peter is in (Germany?) for a couple of days after the airport battle. If that happened on a Sunday mid day, the big finale battle happens Monday morning. Rhodes comes out of surgery Tuesday. Stark is back in NYC on Wednesday as Peter gets back. They drive to his apartment and Tony sends him off.
