I’m a second hand Captain Jack Sparrow, I don’t even watch the entire movie or tv show nowadays, ever since Black Widow, Shang Chi, This movie or Disney + show period, I just watch the YouTube Channel NewRockstars 🤣🤣🤣 simple straight to the plot and Easter eggs

I really don’t know why but it’s a hassle for me to leave the house just to go to the movies. It has nothing to do with COVID, I mean before I used to shell out easily on movie tickets and concessions like nothing but iddk, the business changed and put me off in the wrong way so streaming it is
I agree, I am in the same boat. I'd go to the movies for every MCU movie now. But post-Endgame, what is there really to get excited about? Black Widow is dead in continuity, but we are going back? That's a first and I never really cared for her. Shang Chi? Those rings are ridiculous looking. I don't mind if the rings were some type of chi power that gives him super abilities that shows off his martial arts superiority. Wanda/Loki/FWS really turned out to be like Netflix where they do 1 season of a genre to check a box then cancel it. I honestly think Strange2 would have been a better reveal for where Wanda is at along with Loki. FWS clearly is picking up in Cap4 and would've been fine starting there with them. Too much Marvel now and all just really teases to where they want to go.

But again, it is all about the characters for me. None of these characters I really care about like Cap, Thor and IM. Hulk went down in interest quickly with IW. And honestly, besides the Spider-Man trailer, has any trailer looked very interesting? None.

Selma Hayek said she is signed on for multiple Marvel movies. I'm in.

I was excited for Loki but I think they blew it, rather than just make it seem like Loki broke the multiverse they want to have all these 10 different scenarios like on ”What if” and example A it was the watcher, example B it was “Dr. Strange” But when is Loki coming out and being like oh Hey it was MEEE that did it!!! Disney‘s like wait till season 2 to find out haha
This type of storyline engagement pisses me off, it’s like why waste my time and feelings into a show whenever they will just keep a plot to the sidelines and casually mention it like nothing happened LOL it hurts.

The ending to Eternals was kind of weird too. Essentially alluding to many different future storylines.

First MCU movie I didn’t go to the theater opening weekend.

Hell since IM1 I went first show thursday evening from IM1 to Shang and multiple viewings on many!

The line has ended.

Missionary. So Eternals play it safe.

Wake me when Ikaris is raw-doggin' Sersi doggystyle and Thena joins in. I think audiences are ready, don't you?
I have to assume that Jye has some sort of email/text/pager alert that goes off when any combination of the above appears in the forums. "Jye has entered the chat." :)

I saw it ... four times.
In short, I thought it was much better than reviews would lead you to believe, but I also wouldn't put it anywhere near the top of the MCU.
If you buy into the characters and their relationships, you'll enjoy the movie. If you don't, you won't.
All of you seem to think it will suck before you even see it, so nothing anyone says differently will change your mind. In that regard, don't waste your time.

Was about to ask why you saw it four times then I looked under your name

Yup ... it's what I do with these movies (for the most part). Star Wars too.
I usually see then twice opening night (a tradition that began organically back with the first GOTG movie), and then a couple of other times with my kids during opening weekend. My oldest and I saw it Friday night, and then I had time to take my twins to see it on Saturday.

I can't believe this made as much as it did. Especially after reading that some oversea countries pulled it from theaters after the 1st day due to it's content...

Wonder if good ole Disney is/was buying out seats at empty showings again? :monkey3
