It's all good. Nobody's judging you for following the RT herd on BP. It's soooooo unique! It's like an auteur had sex with a paint by numbers and a screenplay plug-in program and now it's AAAAAARRRRTTTTTTTT.

I loved the theme song to that show. It was all music, but I loved it.
Also loved the stylized animation.

Those warts show up in any other Marvel film and the backlash would be huge.
Didn't like is a strong word.. I do think its highly overrated.
Look when I see a comic book movie I am all for deeper story. I don't expect to have to wait for an hour to get to said deeper story.. Then when the last 15 min is some of the worst action in any of the marvel films I think there is a good reason to complain.
Everyone talks about the first hour being great world building.. But all we really get is some establishing shots, a fight ritual, and a look into their tech (mostly limited to a one scene moment).
You give us one of Marvel's best on screen villains and the pay off climax is a cartoon fight between our antagonist and protagonist.. Yeah that is bad stuff.
But even
when Killmonger took over things just seemed to stop being as interesting... Film had major pacing issues.
So there is like 45 min of good stuff in there story wise. Frustrating when the actors and characters they got to play were pretty darn good.

I went back and watched some of Civil War and could not get over what a step back the effects were in Black Panther. Like a 20 year step back. When that is your 15 min climax its a bit frustrating. A great climax weather it be a big action scene or a verbal debate with the two main characters and I would have liked the film a bit more. As is... Meh.. Its an Ok movie.
