So hearing this first track from the upcoming soundtrack for Marvel’s Black Panther just gives me even more confidence that this movie is gonna be awesome.

It’s called “All the Stars,” and it’s an R&B-infused collab with SZA, a woman who’s changing the R&B game in her own right, that’s already setting itself up to be one of my Confidence Anthems of 2018. Check out some of these lyrics:

Just the idea of Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa nodding his head to this track in the throne room makes me so happy.

(Doesn't make ME happy. A king in a throne room shouldn't behave IMO like he's blowing down the highway in a pimped-out car...
And these lyrics are kinda hostile re a man who has been a prince, rich, etc. Maybe they're for Kilmonger...)

Straight outta Compton was a box office hit so maybe Straight outta Wakanda will do the same.

I don’t know if Compton was a hit with or without white audience support though.

This being a family MCU movie and not a gangsta movie then of course the white audience will turn out but the question is by how much.

Will the whites feel comfortable going to a theater for a movie that will have a huge black turn out even if it’s for a family MCU movie.

Loving the trailer music from every trailer so far but I wonder if Marvel will surprise everyone with a sweeping orchestral score in the movie or will it all be hip hop.

I'm guessing Cap may have a cameo in the end credits or something. If the fast and furious franchise is any indication, white males are not the only ones who can help movies make huge bank.

I'm betting this has a 97-129 mill opening weekend. We are going to see it. It will have good reviews as NO ONE will likely give this a poor review.
