Well, let's see. There have been some trailers, so their content could be discussed. As others have asked,
what do others think Kilmonger's fate will be?
I just get tired of reading all of this PC crap. It's a movie. I go to see movies to be entertained, and in this case, to see a comic
book character come to life.

I dont get you and chakor. This thread is mostly dead while people wait for the movie to drop. People already talked about the trailers. The thread is kinda deserted because everyone is waiting but you guys get upset that we are talking about the only thing everyone is talking about.
Why cant you just wait for the movie to drop? That will make everyone come back. The conversation will pick up.

I guess with me the big issue was that I just get so sick of seeing movies compromised by propaganda (Wonder Woman and this movie for example) that I just hope that maybe folks here can show a little more common sense and not buy into all of these political agenda stories and so forth... but I guess I was wrong.

It's really nothing personal against you or anyone else for that matter, but there are at least two mods here who do delete political talk and I have a hard time believing that most of what goes on in this thread doesn't qualify.

Plus... I miss jye's posts in these threads.

They delete real political talk. Real arguments, but to be honest spazz is the first time we had a problem with that.
Most of the time none of us is really fighting. No one in this thread is actually fighting.

These movies are dripping with political aspects, both wonder woman and this movie are not just movies but political embodiments.

Every single article and review is not even talking about the movie itself but they are all literally talking about the politics of the movie.

The same thing happened with the new Ghostbusters but you werent here. And we all talked about the political aspects of that movie.
It is impossible to not talk about these movies without touching on the political aspects they bring.

You might be upset about it but these movies were made with a lot of politics in them. The directors even bring it up on interviews. The actors themselves bring it up.... you are upset about something even the makers bring up

If we stopped talking about it the other 99% of the internetz is still talking about it.
It is impossible to avoid. At least we are just making fun about it. We arent fighting. We are just goofing up about it

I don't quite get Tyler Perry because he boasts his religiousness yet his 'family-friendly' movies contain some vulgar jokes. The last one I saw - I believe it was Boo 2 - had a joke about how some woman had no teeth because she was a professional prostitute.

The Madea movies are different from his other ones. "She's" kinda faux religious and hypocritical. I've never seen either of the Boo movies. I did see Madea goes to jail. It had some funny moments. I don't go to the theater to see them though.

Yeah it sucks when the makers of the movie itself, the actors keep pushing that stance, keep politicizing their comic movie and the studio keeps paying writers to push that agenda.
