I mean like there would be a way to just make the sculpt look completely off a la Shepard.

So I posted in the "Ask Sideshow" section over on SF, and asked if there were any plans for new Mass Effect statues. Sideshow Alex replied that there's no news of anything ME related on the horizon.

If that's the case, then would anyone else be interested in Gaming Heads putting out some Mass Effect statues? I know that Kotobukiya have an ArtFX Shepard statue for pre-order, but honestly I don't like it at all. Gaming Heads have been putting out some great looking 1/4 and 1/6 scale statues, so I would love them to pick up the ME license.

What do you guys think? If there's enough interest I'd really like to pitch it to them.

Considering she is based off of a real person and I'm sure Sideshow has full access to the character models, I doubt it would be difficult to sculpt any of the ME characters. If anything it should be pretty straight forward to do sculpts based off of 3D games.

You'd think, but the results so far doesn't really show that.

No, I didn't mean it to sound that way. I'm just pretty desperate for some ME related stuff, and I thought Gaming Heads would be a good fit since they only do game related statues anyway. I wanted to send them an e-mail to see if they might look into the license. But I just wanted to check whether other people thought it was a good idea or not.

I'm making this connection based off Treehouse Brand Stores, who runs (and supplies??) a lot of our favorite games merchandise websites (Bethesda, Crystal Dynamics, EA, Gearbox, HALO, Pop Cap, and BIOWARE) Gaming Heads has done/ is doing products from 4 out of the 7 (considering gearbox used to be involved with half-life franchise, but thats a stretch) Treehouse has been selling GH products through the websites.

So maybe in the future.

Yeah, I did notice that the GH Skyrim statues and Fallout bobbleheads are being sold on the Bethesda website. I would love to pick up a set of those bobbleheads at some stage. I think they look great, and I'm a big Fallout fan.

Well GH is starting to get my attention. I would love to see them try Shepard.
